What does Liu Yicha mean?

Liuyicha, also known as Liu Yi Tea Ceremony, is a tea-drinking ceremony in the traditional culture of China. It originated in the Northern Wei Dynasty and was founded by Taoist priests. After the continuous innovation of Taoist Lu Yu in the Tang Dynasty, he put forward the planting, picking, baking, making and preservation of tea trees, thus forming the basic framework of tea ceremony and promoting the spread of tea culture throughout the country.

In the six arts tea ceremony, the six arts are: boiling, pot, soup, cup, kindness and ceremony. Cooking refers to brew tea's skill, which is the most important link in tea ceremony. Pot refers to a teapot and master its use skills; Soup refers to the water and temperature of tea, and different kinds of tea need different water temperatures; Cup refers to the selection and use of tea sets, including teacups, plates, spoons, tea pots and so on.
