Hebei Institute of Engineering and Technology is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded on 1997. In 200 1 year, with the approval of the people's government of Hebei Province, Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Law and Business was established and began to enroll students in the national plan. 20 1 1 Shijiazhuang Law and Business Vocational College was renamed as Shijiazhuang City Vocational College.

It is the first in the province to pass the evaluation of talent training in higher vocational colleges of Hebei Provincial Department of Education. In 20 14, the school was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed as its current name.

Since its establishment in 2005, the School of Architectural Design of Hebei Institute of Engineering and Technology has always adhered to the school motto of "having both ability and political integrity, being knowledgeable and good at building", keeping pace with the times and constantly developing, and is one of the key departments of the school. Based in Hebei and facing Beijing and Tianjin, the college trains applied technical talents with strong comprehensive ability and integrating architectural design and artistic design.

The college covers 6 majors, and the architecture major is a provincial-level first-class major with a provincial-level first-class teaching team. Landscape architecture is an undergraduate major with advantages and characteristics, and environmental design is a first-class undergraduate major in our school.
