What is Huqiu District?

Huqiu District belongs to Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, Huqiu District is located in the west side of the ancient city of Suzhou, east of the Stone Lake and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, with the Gusu District Youxin Street, Sanyuan Street, Baiyangwan Street to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal as the boundary, and Gusu District, Huqiu Street, Xiangcheng District, Huangqiao Street adjoining the Gusu District; the south of Wuzhong District, Yuexi Street, Mudu town, Zangshu Town, Guangfu Town bordering the border; west and northwest of the border on the Taihu Lake; north of the Xiangcheng District, Huangdai Town, Dongqiao Town, Wangting Town adjacent; administrative area of 332.37 square kilometers, resident population of 596,100 people (the end of 2017), jurisdiction over four streets, two towns, the district people's government is located in Dongzhu Street, No. 58 Kepu Road.

Suzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the jurisdiction of Huqiu District, and is co-located with the government agencies of Huqiu District.
