What color is lapis lazuli blue?

Lapis lazuli produced in Algeria is even dark blue to sky blue, and tiny cryptocrystalline texture is mixed with a small amount of pyrite, which makes it shine in the sun. Lapis lazuli is called a "treasure" by Arab Muslim countries.
