Terrazzo construction technology

1. Ground treatment: clean the mortar and dust on the ground with a broom.

2. Alignment: find out the elevation according to the drawing and play the horizontal line.

3. Immersion of terrazzo: In order to ensure the engineering quality, terrazzo should be immersed in water before construction.

4. Block arrangement: Apply mortar leveling layer, then clean it up, and then arrange the blocks as required. Pay attention to symmetry when arranging blocks, and connect them with connected grid lines when dividing them.

5. Trial paving: spread cement mortar on the leveling layer, pull a reticle on the ground for trial paving, and then determine the mortar thickness.

6. Laying mortar on the bottom plate: put the terrazzo into the steel film, then sprinkle water to wet it, lay bonding mortar on it, and level it with a wooden ruler.

7. Laying mortar on the leveling layer: spread mortar and smooth it with iron plate, about 1m long.

8. Paving terrazzo: During construction, the four corners should be placed parallel to the mortar, so as to avoid the layout destroying the flatness of the bonding layer. If it is a hall with columns, when laying, a straight line should be laid between the columns first, and then pasted at both ends.

9. Proofreading: After the paving is completed, tap the board surface with a wooden hammer to make it more firmly bonded, and then pull the wire to see if it is flat. If it is not flat, it should be treated with pulp addition or pulp reduction.

10, joint filling: after paving, clean up the dust between the joints, then fill them to 2/3 height with cement mortar, and fill the remaining13 with colored cement, and then wipe them with a rag.

1 1. curing: after caulking and drying, sprinkle 5- 10 mm sawdust, and then spray water for curing.

12. Waxing: Clean the sawdust, wipe it with a rag and then wax it until it reflects light.
