English Translation of China Cultural Classics is a book published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. This book is an optional course for MTI majors. The book has twenty-four lectures, and the materials are selected in historical order. It covers ancient myths, pre-Qin philosophers, songs of the Book of Songs, poems of Tang and Song Dynasties, Sanqu of Yuan Dynasty, novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties, letters of literati and so on in the cultural history of China. It is the first textbook in China to comprehensively train the English translation of China cultural classics. English Translation of China Cultural Classics combines the characteristics of theme and genre, and organizes the translation teaching of each class in three parts: theme overview, translation of classics and translation exercises, with clear structure.
