Geomorphic Features:

The Songnen Plain can be divided into three geomorphic units: the eastern uplift area, the western plateau area (collectively referred to as pre-mountain alluvial, floodplain plateau, also known as the high plains or Manjang), and the alluvial plain area. The pre-mountain terrace is distributed in the east, north and west, with an elevation of about 180-300 meters, undulating ground, interspersed with granite and concave, with complex morphology, serious modern erosion, many alluvial gullies, and obvious water and soil erosion.

The alluvial plain is about 110-180 meters above sea level, the terrain is flat and open, but the micro-topography is complex, the gullies and valleys are scarce, the drainage is not good, more saline and alkaline lake bubbles, swampy depressions, and the wind deposited geomorphology is developed, and the dunes and sandy hillocks are widely distributed.
