Tarot Card Meaning
Opening a New Card〗Many newcomers know about something called the Spirit of the Cards. You may think that if there is one spirit in each card, how many spirits are produced by the Holy Beetle Company in a year. And what a mess of opening ceremony of the card, in fact, it is not necessary. Just unpack it and use it. It's absolutely one-sided, and the 78 card spirits will naturally manifest when you really concentrate on them.
〖Divination Steps〗
Time: Any time is fine as long as you are in good spirits.
Two places: you can choose a quiet place, which can help you concentrate. Of course any location will do as long as you are able to give it your full attention.
Third object: the speculator can be myself or speculate for others. But if you speculate for yourself, since you subjectively always hope to get good results, this may affect the objectivity and accuracy of the speculation results.
Four shuffling: Before each speculation, a shuffling action must be performed by the inquirer, mixing the cards at will. Shuffle the cards should be placed face down on the tabletop with both hands rubbing the cards; they can also be held in the hand and shuffled like playing bridge.
Five Cutting: After shuffling the cards, fold them and ask the asker to cut them twice before putting them back on the table.
Six Drawing: The deck is chosen according to the question to be asked by the supplicant and the supplicant is allowed to draw the cards.
VII Arrangement of Cards: The cards drawn by the questioner are placed in the deck, with all faces down.
Eight: Open the cards one by one, and when all the cards are open, then start to solve the cards.
Nine: Whether it is your own speculation or for others, before you solve the cards, you should feel the feeling of the cards and what kind of meaning they represent; and then you should analyze the whole situation from the interpretation of each card and the relationship between the whole deck.
〖Precautions〗
First of all, the most important thing is to make sure that your body and mind are in a good and calm state before using Tarot cards. Interpretation of tarot is a laborious work, you must concentrate your mind to understand the meaning of the tarot cards.
You can prepare a black tablecloth. Preferably cotton or yarn. Note that different colors have different effects: green or pink for friendship or love, gray for knowledge or education, yellow or gold for money, purple for career, blue for personality, brown or green for health, and pure white for strength.
Divination needs a sufficient space, prepare a clean cloth on the table, so that the cards are not in direct contact with the table, easy to become dirty. As for the suggestion of using black, it is because black is the color that can gather the most light and energy, no matter from the scientific or speculative point of view. (Actually, you can use black, but the cards will wear out faster.)
What are some things to avoid?
No speculating on the same question twice in a short period of time.
Tarot cards are a tool for peeking into your destiny, a companion on the journey of destiny, and as such, you must place absolute trust in them. If it tells you that the results are not as expected, you should still maintain a respectful attitude. Don't be in the mindset of "counting until you get a good result" - destiny is not a game of trial and error.
Don't lose any cards.
A set of cards is as complete as a hand and a foot, and losing any one of them is a disservice to the cards themselves. So the advice I can give you is: please keep it carefully. (If there is a blank card, say so. Blank cards can be used as lost cards)
Avoid unexpected situations when shuffling.
During the shuffling process explained to you in step 3, there may be situations where a card is shuffled and suddenly turned face up, or some cards are shuffled to the floor, or the wrong pile is put in the wrong place when the cards are cut, etc. You should try to avoid these situations. You should try to avoid these accidents, because they all indicate one thing: you may not be mentally focused enough.
When you're ready, the next step is to identify the questions you want to ask. Remember: the questions must be confirmed before the next step, the shuffling of the cards. Once you start shuffling, you can't change the question.
When a mistake is made:
If a mistake is made in the process of divination, it is not a big deal if the cards are laid out wrongly, and it is enough to change the position. If the cards are wrongly placed, it's not a big deal. You can choose to continue shuffling or not.
Shuffling
Shuffling a deck of cards has two different actions. These two shuffles are repeated for each speculation.
Let's start with the first shuffle. Place the twenty-two large tarot cards face down, stacked flush in your own hand. Concentrate your mind and do not think about anything. Then, begin to submit yourself to your will by pulling a drop from the center of the stack and placing it at the top of the stack. Repeat the same action several times, as many times as you wish.
Next, place the cards on a flat surface and prepare for the second shuffle. Again, your mind must still be focused on spreading the cards out in a circle and shuffling them in a clockwise direction with both hands. While shuffling the cards, you should mentally state the question you are about to speculate on and think about the deck you are going to use.
Listen to your inner voice and you'll feel when it's time to stop; at this point, slowly gather the cards together (don't forget to do this in a clockwise fashion), and then return them to the stack, placing them in a horizontal position.
Also, there are some speculative laws that require the person asking to concentrate his or her own will and meditate on his or her question. At this point, you just need to keep your mind free of distractions; it is up to the questioner to decide when to stop shuffling.
The cut
The cut is the moment when the querent can show his or her skills. Once you've shuffled the cards and stacked them face down, you ask the person who asked to cut the cards. Of course, if the asker is you, you'll have to cut the cards yourself.
First, ask your partner to concentrate on the top of the stack, pick up a card of his or her own volition (never leave it out), and place it under the original stack (that is, close to you), making it into two cards.
Again, take another drop from the top of the second drop; this will be placed on top of the first drop. Now, you have three falls of cards in front of you.
Next, it's up to you to stack the cards back up. Pick up the first drop and place it on top of the second drop; then pick up this combination of the first and second drops and place it on top of the third drop. In this way, it is restored as a stack of cards.
We have one last card-cutting action left. In the process just described, the cards were face down horizontally. We will now turn the cards to face straight down. This action must not be mistaken: if you are speculating for the other person, your direction of rotation is counterclockwise; that is to say, you have to rotate the left end of the tarot card face down by 90 degrees, turning it straight. If you are speculating for yourself, you rotate the cards 90 degrees clockwise. If you get it wrong, the whole meaning of the cards will be completely reversed, so be careful!
Tarot cards have been passed down and evolved for more than five hundred years, and many fixed spreads have been formed all over the world. They are mainly the Major Arcana, the Minor Arcana, and the Mixed Major and Minor Arcana.
The Major Arcana spreads are: Celtic Cross, Tengu, Sacred Triangle, Either/or, Hexagram and Gypsy Cross.
The Major Arcana are: Venus, Sphinx.
Mixed Major and Minor Arcana spreads include: Seven Planets, Tree of Life, Birth House Chart.
In addition, there are also many interpretations of the use of speculation for a specific area such as love, marriage, money and other specialized areas.
Shuffling and cutting the cards is the most important step in the process for accuracy. The next step is much simpler, you just need to line up the deck according to the ranking method you just decided to use. Remember:
All Tarot cards are kept face down during the process. Usually only a portion of the cards will be used in the deck, and the rest of the cards will be kept in a straight face-down position, folded and set aside.
Tarot and psychology
Carl Jung was the first psychologist to look at tarot cards squarely. He saw the tarot as a symbolic archetype: the basic type or situation of a person is implicit in all subconscious human behavior. The Emperor, for example, symbolizes the highest authority (the parent) or the father figure. This archetypal theory has led to many psychological uses. Some psychologists have asked patients to choose a Tarot card that suits them to identify how a patient sees himself. Some psychologists try to use tarot images to make the patient recognize his thoughts by imagining his situations or relationships: is it an acute impulse like in "the Knight of Swords"? Or is it blind and evasive like the "Two of Swords" in the RWS (the Rider-Waite-Smith) series? The Tarot can be seen as an algebra of the subconscious mind, which can be analyzed on a conscious level by following it. It is interesting to note that previous decks such as the Visconti-Sforza and Marseilles tend to be more crude and less "algebraic" than the modern tarot. This is not only an illusion of the modern perspective, but it reflects the general direction of evolutionary change in the art of tarot over the past few centuries, especially since 1900. The symbolism of the Tarot has been very successfully popularized in an original way.
Tarot Nine Commandments
"The Nine Commandments of the Tarot" are some of the rules developed by the American Tarot Association (ATA) that tarot analysts need to **** with. Formerly known as "Tarot Theory".
Rule 1: I will interpret the Tarot cards honestly and completely, with objectivity and compassion.
The second rule: My purpose is to provide guidance to my readers so that they can make decisions that are favorable to them, and I will strive to help them understand the problem and give them hope with each reading.
Third: I will treat my Tarot cards with respect and act professionally at all times, and follow all ethical precepts regarding the Tarot.
The fourth rule: If I charge for my tarot readings, I will state this openly from the beginning and there will be no additional charges.
Article 5: I am willing to promise not to divulge the contents of my teaching and all confidences while studying the Tarot, unless I or others are in danger or intimidation, or unless I have permission to do so; and if I am in danger while doing a reading, I will make sure that my querent is in a safe position.
Article 6: If my inquirer's question is a specialized one, beyond my ability to resolve, I will ask them to consult a relevant professional.
The seventh rule: I will not talk about wealth, I believe that our future is created by ourselves. I will also use my tarot cards to educate my seekers on what they can and cannot do.
Rule 8: I will only interpret the part of the reading that the querent asks for and will not divulge it to a third party to know.
Rule 9: I will endeavor to delve into my knowledge and learning in the Tarot and strive to practice them.
New Nine Commandments of the Tarot
Unlike the original Nine Commandments of the Tarot, it is more concerned with the acceptance of the seeker and the professionalism of the interpreter.
1?I will be objective and "empathetic", and will read the Tarot cards honestly and according to the person's tolerance.
2My goal is to help the seeker "understand the risk analysis under different perspectives and actions" so that they can "make the most favorable decision for themselves without hurting others", and I will try to help them understand the problem and give them room for improvement and growth in each reading.
3?For people and things related to Tarot, "those who are in the right path" will be respected. One's own behavior must be in keeping with professional performance and observance of all precepts regarding the ethical aspects of Tarot.
4?If I charge a fee for a tarot reading, I will openly state this at the outset and ask for the reader's willingness to accept such a fee before performing the reading, and there will be no additional charges afterward." In addition, the fee will be reasonable and affordable to the inquirer."
5?I am willing to guarantee that I will not disclose the contents of the teaching and all confidentiality of my knowledge of the Tarot, unless I or he is in danger or intimidation, or I have the permission of my teacher to do so, and that I will ensure the safety of the person who is seeking the reading, and of myself, if there is any danger involved in the reading".
6?If my querent's problem is of a legal, psychiatric, financial or medical nature, "which cannot be improved by the Tarot cards or my own abilities, I will ask them to seek help from a relevant professional". I also need to encourage them to improve their lives, and to that end I enhance my own abilities and will have resources available for them to consult.
7? "I don't talk about destiny", because instead of complaining that your current situation is not as good as others, you need to know what you can do to help you live a better life, when reading tarot cards, everyone will be responsible for the things read, including the seeker and the divination analyst, I believe that we create our own future, and I will use the tarot cards to educate my seekers on what to work on and what to cherish. work on and what to cherish.
8?All the norms are more important than the confidentiality, I will not disclose any data and interpretation to a third party, I will only interpret the part of the message that the seeker requests, if the seeker needs the help of a third party, such as professional lawyers and doctors, I will seek the consent of the seeker before revealing the relevant information to a third party to understand. I will not disclose the information to a third party.
9?I will endeavor to study the knowledge and learning of the Tarot and to practice it. For those who are not familiar with the Tarot, I will think hard to distinguish between the real and the fake, and avoid the influence of these studies on those who are new to the Tarot.
Opening Ceremony:
One Meditation
Meditation is the same as the usual divination meditation, try to do nothing to think about, the eyes look at the nose, the nose look at the realm of the heart.
Two Prayers - Opening, Resurrection, Connection
As for the prayers used to open new cards, resurrect the spirit of the Tarot, and connect with the universe, the content is self-written, and can be referred to the content of the contracting ceremony in the manga "Elf Envoy:" "All the elves who have pricked up their ears and listened to the sound of my voice! Thou hast imprinted upon me, under the King of the Moon, the unfinished seal of magical power! Grant me the power of my right hand, and the spirit of my left, and the destiny which thou seekest, I will do my best to open for thee! "The deed!" Like this is the perfect prayer, the spirit of opening, resurrection, and connection are all there.
Three: Pass the incense (clockwise)
Passing the incense is just like worshiping in a temple, taking the cards and passing them around the incense burner in a clockwise direction.
Four of the water of the five awns (finger dipped in water to draw the five awns in the air)
Drawing five awns should pay attention to, the first row from the bottom to the top of the row, in order to draw to the five apexes. That is to say: start from the bottom point, draw to the highest point above, and finally end up at the original bottom point.
5 Reading
Reading the cards is done one by one, so it takes a lot of time and effort, so pay special attention to it.
6 First Divination: Good Intentions
The first divination is the maiden divination of the deck. The content of the first divination is not confined, but it focuses on asking questions about oneself and the cards, such as whether the cards are compatible with oneself or whether they are in agreement with each other about the spirit of the Tarot
7 Receiving the Cards
