Why is Israel state terrorism?
The basis for the label of terrorist 'master' is that:
The British newspaper The Times on Jan. 7 claimed to have found new evidence of the Israeli army's use of the banned weapon, white phosphorus shells. On Jan. 4, a Times reporter snapped a photo of the Israeli army's stockpile of shells of the Model 825A1 on the Gaza border. The ?825A1 is an improved version of the U.S.-made white phosphorus shell. In addition, reports from medical institutions in Gaza have indicated that many of the residents who have been severely burned are likely to have been hit by white phosphorus shells. In addition, a Norwegian medical organization suspects that the Israeli army used depleted uranium munitions.
White phosphorus shells are offensive incendiary weapons that function similarly to flamethrowers, with a large amount of viscous agent in the body of the shells that can stick to the human body and equipment and burn, and are usually used to strike exposed or flammable targets with excellent lethal effects, and were once classified as a prohibited weapon by the U.N. Convention on Conventional Weapons (CCW), which was adopted in 1980, and are not permitted to be used against people.
On Jan. 4, a Times reporter on the Israeli side of the Gaza border photographed Israel stockpiling large quantities of M825A1 shells. ?The M825A1 shell, with a caliber of 115 millimeters, is an American-made, improved version of the white phosphorus shell. This shell has a smaller explosive range. The Times once reported that the Israeli army fired white phosphorus shells to create smoke to conceal the movement of ground troops. British military experts have pointed out that the use of white phosphorus shells is the best means of concealment, but will still cause harm to enemy ground personnel, including civilians. The Israeli military has denied the accusation, saying no white phosphorus bombs were used.
Another piece of evidence comes from medical facilities in Gaza. Doctors involved in treating those injured by the Israeli bombing said the injuries were so rare that the residual particles that remained inside the wounded could not be removed with tweezers and had to be treated by flushing with water.
In response to the new evidence found by the Times, the Israeli army again denied it. A spokesman for the Israeli army said that the 825A1 shell was a hollow shell, and that the Israeli army fired the 825A1 shell after spotting a target, creating smoke that was used to locate the target, and then fired the real shell to attack the target.
But Neil Gibson, a military adviser to Britain's Jane's Defense Weekly, insisted that the 825A1 was a white phosphorus shell. This modified white phosphorus round ignites in four to five seconds when exposed to high temperatures and then burns for five to 10 minutes.
In addition, the Times reported that many of the injured requiring amputation had appeared in Gaza hospitals, and a Norwegian medical team said there were indications that they had been hit with a "highly concentrated inert metal shell. The London-based Al-Quds?Al-Arabi website reported on January 7 that the Israeli army was suspected of using depleted uranium shells, an internationally banned weapon, in its attack on Gaza.
