Nutritional treatment of cirrhosis
Viral, sprinkler, toxic, and autoimmune cirrhosis can occur as a result of hepatitis A virus infection, chronic alcohol abuse, exposure to hepatotoxic substances, and autoimmune dysfunction.
Patients in the compensated phase of cirrhosis are mainly characterized by fatigue, loss of appetite, mild bloating, nausea and vomiting. For patients with decompensated cirrhosis, liver decompensation, portal hypertension and ascites are the main manifestations, and often accompanied by a variety of complications.
Nutritional principles of cirrhosis
(1) Energy: according to the patient's condition to determine the amount needed, generally 25003000Kcal.
(2) Protein: to meet the patient's needs and ability to tolerate, and prevent the emergence of hepatic encephalopathy to the extent that. 1.2-1.5g/kg/d
(3) Fat: the daily appropriate intake of 40-50g. (3) Fat: the appropriate daily intake is 40-50g, accounting for 20%25% of the total energy. If cholestatic cirrhosis, adopt low-fat, low-cholesterol diet.
(4) Carbohydrates: daily supply of 350-500g, can be supplemented with some sweets, if necessary, enteral nutrition preparations.
(5) Minerals: attention should be paid to zinc, iron, magnesium supplementation.
Dietary examples of cirrhosis
Breakfast: sugar triangles (flour 50g sugar 10g); mung bean congee (mung bean 10g, rice 50g); marinated chicken eggs 50g; stir-fried toon rot bamboo (toon 75g, fresh rot bamboo 50g). Extra meal: sweet soy milk 200g.
Lunch: dumplings (flour 125g, chicken breast 50g, fresh shiitake mushrooms 100g, road radish 75g); seaweed and seaweed soup (seaweed 5g, seaweed 10g). Extra Meal: Fresh Peach 150g; Punch Lotus Root Powder (Lotus Root Powder 25g, Sugar 20g).
