What are the advantages of LED-UV curing system?

The advantages of LED-UV are as follows:

(1) cold light source, no thermal radiation, low surface temperature rise of the illuminated object, solving the long-standing thermal damage problem in optical communication and liquid crystal production, especially suitable for liquid crystal edge sealing, film printing and other occasions. Low calorific value, which can solve the problem that the mercury lamp inkjet equipment has high calorific value and the staff can't stand it. Moreover, the LED-UV light source emits high-purity single-band ultraviolet light with almost no infrared output. It is a cold light source, and the workpiece will not be deformed by heat.

(2) High efficiency: the light energy of LED-UV is highly concentrated in a certain ultraviolet spectrum, which has an effective curing effect. The actual use effect is equivalent to that of the traditional high-pressure mercury lamp ultraviolet light source, and the light intensity is 1000 ~ 2000 MW/cm2, which shortens the curing time. The ultraviolet light of traditional mercury lamp looks bright, but its heat is high, because its spectrum is very wide. The truly effective curing ultraviolet spectrum only accounts for a part of its energy, and a considerable part of it is in the visible light range (stray light) and infrared spectrum (causing heat), which seriously hurts the operator's eyes and easily causes thermal deformation of the processed workpiece.

(3) Long service life: The service life of LED-UV lamps is more than 10 times that of traditional mercury lamps, and the service life is not affected by the number of switches.

(4) Instant switching, maximum power ultraviolet output can be realized without preheating, and it can be restarted instantly after shutdown.

(5) High energy, stable light output, good uniform irradiation effect and improved production efficiency.

(6) The effective irradiation area can be customized, with the length ranging from 20mm to 1000mm.

(7) Mercury-free and ozone-free, which is a safer and more environmentally friendly choice to replace the traditional light source technology.

(8) Low energy consumption, which is only 10% of the traditional mercury lamp vulcanizer, and can save electricity by 90%.

(9) The maintenance cost is almost zero. Using UV-LED curing equipment can save at least RMB 10000 per set every year.

(10) Because the ultraviolet irradiation device and related supporting devices are very compact, there is no need for large mechanical installation space and pipeline construction in the past, and the installation is simple and easy. It can be said that the LED-UV curing system further enhances the environmental coordination of the traditional UV curing system. LED-UV technology is an upgrade to the original UV technology.
