Mingzhengde blue and white porcelain decoration
Zheng Deqing began to draw a large number of Islamic and Taoist patterns, and it was a popular trend at that time to use Persian and auspicious patterns as the main decorative patterns. Persian content is mostly auspicious sentences, while some explain the purpose of the object. The theme of character stories is wider than that of Chenghua and Hongzhi. The specific patterns are Flower-wearing Dragon, Flying Dragon, Tuanlong, Solanum nigrum, Ssangyong, Wulong, Tuanfeng, Flower-wearing Phoenix, Peony, Character Story, Panasonic Gaoshi, Visiting Friends and Playing the Piano, Yuanming Love Chrysanthemum, Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, Garden Painting, Immortal Pilgrimage, Zhenwu Emperor, Yue Bai in the West Chamber, Sixteen Children English Drama, and Ladies.
The composition of official kilns tends to be dense, which is quite different from the elegant and bright style of Chenghua and Hongzhi blue and white. A large number of double Gou Ping painting techniques are used, and there is no sense of brushwork. The decorative leaves and flowers have obvious textures.
Folk kilns tend to be elegant in composition and more skillful in brushwork. There are mainly dragon patterns, lotus branches and broken flowers, especially fish patterns, galloping horses, long-tailed dragons and Hester. Patterns such as milk tiger, tree and stone railing, Panasonic reading old man and Panasonic music girl all appeared in the Zheng De period.
