What is the feeling of secrecy law?

On the basis of inheriting the fine tradition and system of China's secrecy work and summing up the historical experience of China's secrecy work, the secrecy law has carried out some major reforms in accordance with the new development of the situation.

For example, the definition of state secrets is defined, the scope and duration of state secrets and their classification are stipulated, and the guidelines and principles of confidentiality work adapted to the new situation of reform and opening up are clarified.

The function of secrecy law:

1. Established the fundamental purpose, basic principles and guidelines of China's secrecy work in the form of national laws, and pointed out the correct direction for the development of secrecy work;

2. Draw a clear line between state secrets and non-state secrets, establish the legal procedures for the determination and change of state secrets, classification and duration of confidentiality, and stipulate the method of decryption, which fundamentally changes the phenomenon that the scope of confidentiality is unclear, the classification is chaotic, and the classification is lifelong, which violates the law of its own development;

5. Established the management system of China's secrecy work in the form of law, established the status of China's secrecy department, and provided legal guarantee for it to exercise its functions and powers according to law.
