Total number of private enterprises in Shanghai

Shanghai's cumulative number of recognized private enterprise headquarters reached 388, of which 88 were in Pudong, accounting for 22.7% of the total, while 42 and 37 were in Minhang and Qingpu, accounting for 10.8% and 9.5% of the total respectively, ranking the second and third. The cumulative number of private enterprise headquarters in the suburbs accounted for 70% of the total, the same as at the end of last year.

The concept of private enterprise is viewed differently in economics.
