Core technology of digital back

1. The image sensor used in professional digital imaging products is CCD instead of CMOS. Because CMOS technology is not perfect at present, and it can not meet the perfect image requirements when applied to professional digital products, it is impossible for professional digital back manufacturers to use CMOS.

2. Digital backs are all developed based on 120 camera, and professional imaging products are developed based on 120 camera, which lays a solid foundation for the long-term consideration of back products. It can solve the heat dissipation problem of CCD, deal with the huge file size and so on, and the digital SLR of 135 is more expensive to implement at this stage.

3. The digital back adopts uncompressed image format, which lays the foundation for future image processing. Because the digital SLR camera needs to process the image through compression format, this leads to too many sharpness, levels, highlights and dark parts of the compressed image, and the color reproduction can not be recovered well, which also brings a lot of trouble to the further processing of the digital image in the later stage.

4. The core software compression technology, because the file format on the digital back is completely different from that of 135 digital SLR, some of them adopt special file formats. For example, PHASEONE adopts a very complicated RAW compression format independently developed, which makes the image post-processing and restoration reach a new level.
