Why is it said that growing hemorrhoids should not be operated easily?
Hemorrhoids themselves are a very common anorectal disease, and it has been reported abroad that 50%-90% of individuals have at least one complaint of hemorrhoids in their lifetime. In the past, it was believed that hemorrhoids were formed by varicose veins in the rectal-anal canal department, but treating hemorrhoids according to that theory could not solve the problem of high postoperative recurrence rate.
It is only in recent years that some foreign scholars have put forward a modern concept of hemorrhoids, the doctrine of the anal cushion downward. The anal cushion is the lower end of the rectum lip-like flesh, is located in the dentate line to the dentate line above the 1.5cm or so of the ring-like spongy tissue band, is a normal anatomical structure that everyone has, plays a role in the anal gasket, to assist the sphincter muscle closure of the anus.
Long-term drinking and eating a lot of stimulating food can make the local congestion; perianal infection can cause perivenous inflammation so that the anal cushion hypertrophy; long-term sitting and standing, constipation, pregnancy, prostate hypertrophy can lead to anal cushion downward displacement. The pathological hypertrophy and displacement of the anal cushion forms hemorrhoids.
General clinical hemorrhoids are divided into four phases to guide clinical treatment, the first phase only bleeding during defecation, hemorrhoids do not come out of the anus; the second phase of defecation hemorrhoids come out of the anus, and then return to their own; the third phase of the hemorrhoids need to be returned to the hand after the hemorrhoids are removed; the fourth phase of the anus for a long time in the anus, and can not be returned to the hand. Currently, the more common surgical method is external peeling and internal ligation, the operation is relatively simple, but the patient is in great pain after the operation, the wound healing is slow, and there is a risk of anal stenosis and anal incontinence.
Because the anal cushion is a normal anatomical structure of the human body, the current view of the medical profession has changed from "see hemorrhoids on the treatment" to "only treat the symptomatic hemorrhoids". The purpose of the treatment is to eliminate and reduce the main symptoms, rather than cure. In most cases, the symptoms of hemorrhoids can be relieved by changing lifestyle habits. For example, increase the fiber food, change the bad stool habits (such as reading a book during defecation, or something to the toilet squatting, etc.), to keep the bowel movement, change the diet (such as less alcohol, do not eat spicy and other stimulating food).
