The collection of musical works of Songs of the 56 Ethnic Minorities of China, in addition to the four albums containing the songs, also has a companion collection, which provides a comprehensive introduction to the music, humanistic customs, and history and culture of the ethnic groups, illustrated in graphic detail. The texts are all compiled into English by famous translators based on the literature.
