Draft Amendment to the Rules for the Implementation of the Labor Insurance Regulations

Article 23: In the event of the death of a worker or employee due to illness or non-work-related injury, or the death of a retired pensioner, or the death of a retired employee who is totally incapacitated for work due to non-work-related disability, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14(b) of the Labor Insurance Regulations, the worker shall, in addition to two months of the average wage of the enterprise paid to the worker under the Labor Insurance Fund as a funeral subsidy, be paid the following provisions: one of his dependent immediate family members shall be paid the funeral subsidy for himself. In addition, the following provisions of the Labor Insurance Fund to pay a lump sum under the dependent immediate family relief: dependent immediate family members of one person, for the deceased's own wages for six months; two people, for the deceased's own wages for nine months; three or more than three people, for the deceased's own wages for twelve months.
