The content of our lecture today is aimed at the writing part of CET-4 and CET-6 to help you warm up before the exam, but we didn't start with the idea of pressing the questions, because after all, we didn't participate in doing the questions, and we won't miss them, so it would be a coincidence if we accidentally bet the right questions.

Analysis of Writing Questions in CET-4 and CET-6

First of all, we need to know a writing question in CET-4. Since the reform of College English Band 4 +0 1 1 17, some changes have taken place in the form of questions.

The first form of writing questions is an outline composition in Chinese and English. As the name implies, it is to give you three articles in Chinese or English. The biggest feature of this composition is that it doesn't need to be examined. Students know some key points required by the Chinese syllabus, as long as they write them out in perfect English. Therefore, at present, the probability of writing questions in this form is not particularly great. Unless there is a comeback this year, or it coincides with the old questions before, this form of writing should be.

There are more opportunities to write questions in three types of compositions. The first one is called material English composition: I will give you a famous saying or a popular sentence in society, and then comment on this famous saying or proverb, and extract the deep English connotation from it to comment, so that I can write an argumentative essay.

The second category is the composition of the material chart. It's also material for you. This material is to give you a table, such as a column chart, a graph, a pie chart or an excel table. Choose one of the four tables to test, and then students first describe this chart, and then comment on a social phenomenon implied or displayed by this chart.

The third category is the composition of the material picture, which is to give you a cartoon. Students should understand a social phenomenon or a profound philosophy implied in this cartoon. After reading this phenomenon, let's discuss it again, and prove it through various argumentation methods, such as normal argumentation or cause analysis.

We don't know what kind of questions will be given on June 15 this year, because the writing questions of CET-4 and CET-6 are very flexible and can't be answered before the exam, but we can do some analysis. Generally speaking, these four types of problems are more likely.

Writing methods of different topics in CET-4 and CET-6

If there are new questions in June this year, students can only get high marks by playing on their own in the examination room. Next, the second topic is the classification of topics. No matter what form of investigation, there will always be a topic, which includes all levels of social phenomena. Then, after we understand these phenomena and levels, we may be more confident, or more prepared, and more confident in writing.

First of all, we divide this topic into ten angles and ten directions.

Angle 1: business.

Related to the economic development of these commercial industries or commercial phenomena, the topic can be in the form of charts and pictures in English or outline composition.

There are still a few topics for us to look at.

The second kind is called shanzhai products, which is actually related to the low quality of products. Then you can draw pictures by chart composition or outline composition. The name of the cottage product is (cottage product/cottage product).

Then the fourth cultural and educational topic is plagiarism, which is what we call plagiarism.
