The Origin and Story of Anji White Tea

Anji White Tea is a special kind of green tea, which is produced in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, China. It has the characteristics of light yellow, fragrant, sweet and refreshing, and tender and smooth buds and leaves. There are many stories about the origin and story of Anji white tea:

1. Shennong tasted a hundred herbs: According to legend, in ancient times, Shennong tasted a hundred herbs as a medicinal diet and accidentally met a tea tree. After trying, it was found that tea can be soaked in water for drinking, so tea making was born. Among them, Anji white tea is one of the treasures left by Shennong.

2. Small tea garden in Tang Dynasty: According to legend, there was a small tea garden in Tang Dynasty with beautiful environment and some tea trees. 3. Minister's Travel in Qing Dynasty: It is said that when a minister of Qing Dynasty traveled to Anji, he passed a tea garden and found that the leaves of a tea tree were slightly white. After tasting, the tea soup is fresh and refreshing, which has been popularized in North Korea, thus making Anji white tea go global.
