Table tennis which four major tournaments

There are four major world table tennis tournaments:

1. the World Table Tennis Championships (WTTC), which is held once every four years

2. the Olympic Table Tennis Championships (OTTC), which is held once every four years

3. the World Cup Table Tennis Championships (WCTC), which is held once every two years

4. the FIBA's annual professional tournaments (FIBA), which is held annually

Olympic Table Tennis Championships (OTC), which is held once every four years

October Table Tennis Championships. Held every four years, it originally featured four events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles. In order to increase the excitement of the competition, the IOC approved in 2005 a proposal by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITF) to replace the doubles competition with a team competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympics without increasing the number of participants or the number of days of competition. The table tennis events at the Beijing Olympics will be set as follows: men's singles, women's singles, men's team and women's team.

The World Table Tennis Championships. This is the largest and highest level of the four major table tennis tournaments, the largest number of participants, the only tournament with all seven events: "Sweethling Cup" Men's Team Championship Cup, "Marcel Kobylen Cup" Women's Team Championship Cup, "St. Bride's Cup for Men's Singles, Gee Geist Cup for Women's Singles, Iranian Cup for Men's Doubles, Popper Cup for Women's Doubles, and the Swansea Cup for Men's Singles. Bopp Cup" for women's doubles, and "Z. Herdusek Cup" for men's and women's mixed doubles. Currently, the tournament holds team competitions in every biennial year and five individual competitions in every single year, and each trophy is named after the donor's name or the country's name.

World Cup Table Tennis. The World Cup of Table Tennis was officially born in 1980, and is held annually, with men's singles and women's singles events, and is a "small but elite" tournament with only sixteen participants.

The FIVB Pro Tour. Started in 1996, once a year, is a traditional tournament in the international ping world, with men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles four events.
