Frozen pears are edible.

There are frozen pears, frozen persimmons, frozen apples and frozen begonia in the northeast, all of which are local specialties. Frozen pears and frozen persimmons are the main fruits in northern winter.

Frozen pears and persimmons have always been the traditional winter fruits of Harbin people. In the past, due to the lack of food, fruit preservation technology and storage conditions, frozen pears and frozen persimmons were almost the only fruits that ordinary people could eat in winter.
