Post-processing of clay printer
However, the ceramic printer needs a series of post-processing work while manufacturing ceramic objects. First of all, the printed ceramic products need to be dried, and the drying temperature and time should be adjusted according to the size and shape of the products. Generally speaking, it needs to be dried for at least 24 hours. Next, the dried ceramic products need to be fired for the first time, which is called "green embryo firing". The purpose is to transform porcelain clay material into porcelain embryo, so as to increase the density and hardness of the product.
After the green embryo is fired, the porcelain embryo needs to be processed and trimmed. Workers will use adhesives to splice ceramic blanks together and process them into a complete product. Subsequently, a second firing is required, which is called "glaze firing". In the process of firing glaze, glaze will be applied to the surface of ceramic products, thus making the appearance of products more beautiful. Finally, the product needs to be "packaged" to prevent damage and breakage.
In a word, although the pottery clay printer has greatly improved the manufacturing efficiency and quality of ceramic objects, it still needs a series of post-processing work, which must be carried out in strict accordance with the specifications in order to manufacture high-quality ceramic products.
