What is the birth and development of traditional literary styles?

Literature originates from human labor practice and social life, therefore, like other peoples in the world, the literature of our country in ancient times has already been created in the primitive era when writing has not yet been invented, and the forms are mainly primitive songs, dances and myths. Although they were simple and even "primitive", they had an important influence on the development and evolution of literature and art in later times. As a comprehensive art form, primitive songs and dances were originally a trinity of poetry, music and dance, and their music and dance became an important category of art in later generations; while their rhythmic and rhyming language was the source of poetry, an important category of literature in later generations. As for the primitive myths with storytelling, they had an inestimable influence on the narrative literature of later generations, such as prose, fables, novels and dramas. After the invention of writing, relying on the unique Chinese characters as a carrier, Chinese literature has also created literary styles such as prose, diction, lyrics, and novels. The birth and development of these literary styles are closely related to the historical, social and cultural environments of the nation, and therefore have distinctive national characteristics from the form of expression to the content.
