Balloon decoration knowledge

1, ordinary ball and pearlescent ball

(1) Commonly used balloons are divided into ordinary balls and pearlescent balls with a layer of pearl powder on the surface.

(2) The color of ordinary ball is brighter than that of pearlescent ball, but in light or sunlight, pearlescent ball reflects light and looks brighter than ordinary ball.

2. Balloon color

(1) In foreign countries with developed balloon industry, balloon manufacturers produce more than 50 balloon colors.

(2) Common balloon colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and pink, and there are other auxiliary transition colors, such as light green, light blue, light purple, apple green, lemon yellow and ivory white.

(3) In addition to the eight basic colors, pearlescent balls also have transition colors such as light green, light blue and light purple. In addition, pearlescent balls have special colors that ordinary balls don't have: gold and silver. These two colors are also called metallic colors.

(4) In China, balloon manufacturers produce fewer balloons, generally only red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, pink, light green, light blue, lavender, gold and silver.

Pearlescent balls are of similar quality.

3. Balloon size

(1) Balloon sizes range from 3 inches, 5 inches, 6 inches, 9 inches, 10 inches, 12 inches, 16 inches, 18 inches, 30 inches, 48 inches and 60 inches. The decorative arrangement of early balloons was imported from abroad, and most of the balloons used were imported. The size of imported balloons is generally named in inches. For example, a balloon with 10 inch can be called a ball with 10 inch.

(2) The size of a balloon is named after its expanded diameter. For example, a 5-inch balloon (or a 5-inch ball) means that the diameter of the balloon after inflation is 5 inches, 1 inch is about 2.54 cm, and the diameter of the balloon after inflation is about 12 cm; 10 inch balloon means that the diameter of the balloon after inflation is 25cm (10 inch * 2.54cm/inch = 25cm).

(3) Balloon specifications are also expressed in grams. For example, a balloon with 1.8g means that the weight of each balloon is 1.8g, and we call it 180 balloon for short. Weight is one of the reference standards of balloon quality. For example, balloons of the same size (10 inch balls), the heavier ones will be better than the lighter ones.

(4) The size of the balloon is also expressed by numbers, and the 5th ball =5-inch balloon; No.6 ball = 10 inch balloon; No.8 ball = 12 inch balloon.

(5) In the balloon decoration arrangement, we usually use 5-inch and 10-inch balloons, with a big ball and a small ball. Balloons of other sizes are seldom used, which are often used for modeling decoration and supplement.

(6)#260 magic balloon means that the balloon is 2 inches in diameter and 60 inches in length after inflation. The specifications of the magic balloon are # 160 and #350.
