The custom of Notting Hill Carnival
Notting Hill Carnival is like a fancy masquerade ball in the whole city. People can wear the most imaginative clothes without scruple every year. On this day, people will hold carnival dances for three consecutive days.
Notting Hill Carnival is mainly divided into three parts:
The first day was a unique steel drum band performance and competition. The musical instrument used is a steel drum made of petrol cans, which aims to attract local Caribbean immigrants to come out for a carnival and remind them not to forget their hometown.
The next day is Children's Day, and the community organizes children to dress up beautifully and paint their faces, so that the children can have a wonderful day.
On the third day, the carnival reached its climax, and the parade was singing and dancing in several streets of Notting Hill, attracting a large number of tourists to join. DJs from Britain and even all over the world play all kinds of music on the car mixer, such as Rizzo, Sokka and samba. During these three days, people reveled and laughed heartily.
