Chinese feudal society

Something similar to the Chinese people have not done a lot, for example, nowadays the TV are talking about criminal suspects. Suspects, as the name suggests, are people who are under suspicion. But you can certainly see that some criminals have already been convicted and are still called "suspects"! If they have been convicted, they should be called criminals or prisoners, so why are they still called suspects? Because it's a term from a foreign country!

Western countries were in a feudal society until the Industrial Revolution, and this was a typical feudal society, where lords were divided up by the king or a higher lord. That's why there are all kinds of titles on TV, which you don't see in Chinese movies, because China is not a feudal system, and although there are some small titles, they have no political influence at all. Therefore, some scholars, in order to be in line with the "international standard", call the corresponding time period in Chinese history a feudal society, which is totally wrong!

The Qin Emperor ended feudalism in China, and the period from the First Emperor to the end of the Qing Dynasty is more accurately called "patriarchal society"!
