1, De peacock dance

Dai peacock dance is the most famous traditional performing dance among Dai folk dances in China. Mainly distributed in Ruili, Luxi, Xishuangbanna, Mengding, Mengda, Jinggu and Cangyuan in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, among which peacock dance in Ruili City in western Yunnan is the most representative.

2. Dai water splashing festival

The Dai Water-splashing Festival is also called the Bathing Buddha Festival, and the Dai language is Bimaimai. Dai people in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture and Dehong Dai Autonomous Prefecture also call this festival Shangkong monk key, Achang, Dechang, Brown, Wa and other ethnic groups beg for food and water splashing festival, and Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laoshu and other countries also celebrate water splashing festival.

3. Dai brocade skills

Dai brocade skill is one of the traditional skills in Yunnan. Brocade refers to delicate and bright textiles in the dictionary. Dai people have cotton brocade and silk brocade for a long time. 4. Ashima

Ashima is a long narrative poem of Sani people of Ding nationality in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province. It tells or sings the story of Ashima in oral poetic language. The story of Ashima's indomitable struggle with powerful forces reveals that light will eventually replace darkness, goodness and beauty will eventually replace evil, and freedom will eventually replace oppression and imprisonment, which embodies the national character and spirit of the Sani people of Yi nationality.

5.torch festival

Torch Festival is an ancient traditional festival of Lin, Bai, Naxi, Jinuo and Lahu nationalities. It has profound folk culture and connotation, and is called the carnival of the East. Different ethnic groups hold Torch Festivals at different times, mostly on June 24th of the lunar calendar. The main activities are bullfighting, goat shooting, cockfighting, horse racing, wrestling, song and dance performances, beauty contests and so on. In the new era, the Torch Festival has been endowed with new folk functions and produced new forms.
