What is meant by Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is a holiday in Western Europe, North America and Japan. It is celebrated on February 14 every year. On this day, lovers give each other congratulatory letters, greeting cards and gifts such as flowers or chocolates that express their love for each other.

And in China, one of the traditional festivals, Tanabata, is also a day valued by girls, and is thus known as China's Valentine's Day. Because it expresses **** the same human feelings, countries and regions have discovered their own "Valentine's Day".

The modern Valentine's Day was celebrated in the early fifteenth century by the young Archduke of Orléans in France. The young French Archduke of Orléans was captured by the British at the Battle of Agencourt and then imprisoned in the Tower of London for many years. He wrote many love poems to his wife, about 60 of which are preserved to this day.

The use of flowers as tokens of Vallendar came about two hundred years later. One of the daughters of King Henry IV of France had a big party at Vallée de la Vallée. All the ladies received a bouquet of flowers from the man who chose her to be Valentine.

Flowers, heart-shaped candies, tokens with the name of the sender covered with lace and folded tassels do not only represent a sincere love, but also the best remembrance of Friar Valentine, who dared to fight against tyranny.
