Songbao can be rated as a provincial cultural relics protection unit in history. Therefore, until the reconstruction, Songbao was still only a county-level cultural relics protection unit. According to the national regulations, the county-level cultural relics protection units shall be disposed of by the county-level government, and the provincial-level cultural relics protection units shall be jointly approved by National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau before they can be rebuilt. The county government has no right to decide on reconstruction.

The demolition and reconstruction of Songbao is a great achievement of this county government. The magnificent antique city wall is refreshing, which greatly improves the popularity of Zijing Mountain and boosts the tourism image of Zhuanglang County. It is an important part of the construction of Zijingshan Cultural Industrial Park and a major event in the construction of cultural industry in Zhuanglang County.
