Chronic pharyngitis is a dry, painful, itchy, foreign body sensation in the throat, or with a dry cough as the main symptom, it is difficult to cure the stubborn disease of otorhinolaryngology, Chinese medicine is called "false fire throat paralysis", but from the actual clinical point of view is not all "fire", and is not the only nourishing Yin! The treatment method of clearing heat and removing toxins is not the only one. Although the disease is a laryngeal disease, but in fact with the body's internal organs have a close relationship. Recently, I have been studying the ideas and experiences of Chinese medicine treatment of chronic pharyngitis, combined with my own experience, summarized as follows.

1. Lung and kidney yin deficiency: XuanMaiGanZhuangTang (XuanShen, Maidong, licorice, Platycodonopsis).

Lung and kidney yin deficiency is the most easy to think of a type of evidence, gold generates water, lung yin deficiency and kidney disease for a long time, it is easy to lung and kidney yin deficiency is the same, but this type of chronic pharyngitis accounted for only a small part of chronic pharyngitis, do not see chronic pharyngitis that is to be taken to nourish yin and clear the heat, diarrhea and detoxification of the method.

2. yin deficiency and Yang floating : fire-inducing soup (ripened rhubarb, Morinda citrifolia, maitake, asparagus, schizandra, Poria, cinnamon), or Zuoqui drink with subtractions.

This type refers to kidney yin deficiency, yin does not control the yang, false fire upward, and at the same time there is yin damage and yang, and see the yin and yang deficiency, but the yin deficiency is dominant. Red tongue without moss, dry and painful throat, and cold pain in both knees are the characteristic clinical manifestations.

3. Spleen yin deficiency : Six Harmonies Tang: Sijunzi Tang + yam, white lentils, or Senling Baijushu San to remove the sand nuts and add sasanqua, maitake, lily and so on.

Insufficient spleen yin, no fluid for the upper presentation, so see dry throat, pain and other symptoms. Treatment is based on nourishing spleen yin, and at the same time strengthening the spleen qi to help disperse the fluid. Spleen Yin insufficiency is a pattern that is easily overlooked, but it exists objectively.

4. Loss of spleen health: Xiangsha Liu Junzi Tang with Astragalus, Platycodonopsis and so on.

When the spleen is not healthy, there is no way to elevate and clear the body, so the fluid cannot be transported upwards to the throat. Therefore, the treatment should strengthen the spleen qi and restore its ability to elevate and clear.

5. Yang deficiency and cold condensation: Ephedra, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Sinensis Tang, or Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Sinensis Tang, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Dry Ginger Tang, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae and Tang (Cinnamon, Licorice, Radix et Rhizoma).

6. Phlegm and Qi stagnation: 半夏厚朴汤 (半夏，厚朴，生姜，茯苓，苏叶).
