Is the water absorption rate of cement tile good? How to lay cement bricks?

When buying cement tiles, people will care about the water absorption of cement tiles. Floor tiles with strong water absorption are generally suitable for water permeability and drainage pipe grade. So, is the water absorption rate of cement brick good? How to lay cement bricks? We will explain it for you.

Is the water absorption rate of cement tile good?

1, the water absorption of cement tile is generally around 0.5%, and the water absorption is relatively high. The thickness of cement tile is thicker than that of ordinary floor tile. Because of the * * * three-layer structure of cement tile, it is a surface dyed layer, a dense layer in the middle and a solid layer under pressure at the bottom. The dye layer is thicker than the glaze layer of the tile, so the color of the cement brick can become thicker with time. But the water absorption of cement tile is higher, so cement tile is not very durable. When paving, it is suggested to waterproof the ground to make the cement brick more resistant to dirt.

2. Cement brick is a prefabricated abrasive, which is made of pure natural dyes and cement in proportion, and it is a building decoration material with appreciation effect. Traditional bricks are fired, but cement tiles are not. They are inhibited by high working pressure, thus promoting the density curing of colored concrete. After solidification, the strength is high, so it is very wear-resistant. And if it is used for a long time and maintained well, the surface will become smoother and smoother, but it is not easy for people to fall.

3. Cement bricks are different from floor tiles in production technology, and do not need clay, enamel and firing. On the contrary, they are made by wet method. After the production is completed, the cement tiles are dried outdoors and then packaged. Therefore, handmade cement tiles are environmentally friendly, heat-resistant, not easy to crack and fade, and the color can be said to be timeless.

How to lay cement bricks

1, water and wet the bottom, and brush the cement paste plastering mortar with a specific gravity of 0.5. According to the thickness of reinforcement, use 1_3 (or divide it according to the design) to spread the adhesive layer (subject to holding the dough without touching water). Use scraper and wooden scraper to scrape the bonding layer and compact it (when plastering the bonding layer, the bottom layer should be kept wet and the plastering mortar should not be dry. After the adhesive layer is plastered, there are only slight footprints when people stand, and there is no dent.

2, before the shop is stuck, cement brick should be soaked in humid air in advance. With cement slurry (2-3mm thick), all the reverse sides of the block surface are coated, pointing to the hanging lines and gaps, paving the block surface, and knocking at the fruit cloth with a mallet; Immediately clean up the extruded cement slurry (the gap is 2mm concave than the brick surface).

3. Before paving, the elevation control line will pop up around the wall and the reticle will pop up on the ground to manipulate the specifications of the floor tile. And then pre-paving. Firstly, strictly select the color, grain and surface smoothness of the floor tile on the basis of the construction drawing design, and then pre-pave it according to the provisions of the engineering drawing. Adjust and exchange the deviation of specifications, colors and lines that may appear in the pre-paving, until the best practical effect is achieved, and pile them neatly and reserve them in the paving order.

4. When paving cement brick, use 1_4 hard mixed mortar, and the thickness of cement mortar is 25mm. Before paving, the opposite side of the floor tile should be wet, and it is most suitable to be dry and impetuous. Spread the floor tile on the mixed mortar as required, and beat the tile facing with a rubber hammer until the compactness leveling meets the requirements.

Finally, joint filling and demolition. Cement tiles shall be laid for 24 hours to clean and fill the joints. Before caulking, the internal organs in the cracks in the floor tiles should be wiped clean and caulked with 1_ 1 mixed mortar. When the cement mortar is set, clean the surface of the floor tile with pure cotton yarn and other materials.
