The Development History of Colored Glass
Colored glass has existed since ancient times and may have originated in the Near East. This art form rose in the 10 century. The oldest complete stained glass window can be traced back to the early12nd century. This is a picture of a prophet painted on the window of augsburg Cathedral. Early Gothic windows painted simple portraits of single people and mainly used bright colors. /kloc-in the 20th century, the window became larger and narrative pictures were introduced. In the 14 and 15 centuries, Jean Cassin introduced glass paintings called silver dyeing, which gave artists more color choices.
