2. Lead falling to the bottom: When the lead falls to the bottom, the buoyancy generated by the float is slightly less than the gravity generated by the lead falling, the hook, the bait and the fishing line.

3. Lead falling into the bottom of the water: When lead falls into the bottom of the water, the buoyancy generated by the float is less than the gravity generated by the lead drop, the hook, the bait and the fishing line.
