What is a Wushu routine?

A set is a unique form of Chinese martial arts and a major technical feature that distinguishes it from other martial arts.

A wushu routine is a series of combinations of movements that contain the meaning of skill, attack and defense. Each school of Chinese martial arts has many routines that express the characteristics of its own school, and the routines are mostly progressive, and beginners and people who have practiced for a long time learn different routines. Current martial arts athletes learn many different styles very quickly at the same time, but most of them are not clear about their techniques and the meaning of offense and defense.

In traditional wushu, the initial practice of the routines is separated from each other and practiced one by one, so that the learners can experience the meaning of luck, attack and defense. This practice is repeated over and over again, precisely in order to be able to reflexively use the corresponding moves in actual combat, but also to carefully experience the effectiveness of the moves. For example, the so-called "half-step Bengquan fight the world" Xingyiquan master Guo Yunshen, against the enemy always use a move Bengquan, and technically only half a move, but it is enough to beat the opponent.
