The etymology of the word "rune" refers to "carving or cutting"

In German, the word is "Braun".

When runes are cut and carved on wood, metal or stone, the word rune is similar to the rune letters themselves.

Their shapes and shapes vary from material to material.

For example, runes carved on wood are straighter in northern Europe. Runes have been actively used for 1000 years, from 150 to 1 100 CE. Like any writing system, they are used as reliable forms of information storage and oral expression. After 1 100, it was written in Latin. Runestone Sm 10 behind XJé Cathedral.

The most famous example is the rune trio ALU.

These three works are carved on brooches and magical bracts (thin gold plates worn as jewelry in northern Europe in the Iron Age). The pattern on the plate is a pattern in northern mythology with a protective icon.

0), it is a common magic practice to carve weapons and tools with runes.

Sigmund Driffort Marr, when reading the poetic Eda, mentioned that the "victory rune" should be engraved on a sword, "some on the hilt, some on the inlay, and named Tyre twice.

These examples show that the rune itself contains an ancient magic form and tradition: each rune has strong symbolic significance and potential uses.

Unfortunately, with the gradual disappearance of the spell, its magical use also disappeared. Today, we have only a few echoes in the history of "Millennium", and that is the charm word alu.

Professor Sigurd Agrael devoted his whole life to exploring the magical and nonverbal meaning of runes in order to regain some knowledge we lost.

The themes of runes and languages are very extensive, but I want to give readers a glimpse of the magical information that Professor Agrell revealed to us in the 1920s and how it made us understand the multi-layered meanings of runes. Sigurd Agrell (188 1- 1937), a Swedish poet, a runaway and a Slavic professor at Lund University in Sweden.

(public domain), he first began to study the ordered list of the rune alphabet itself-this is the basic A to Z, and discovered how the rune alphabet is organized.

The lines and sequences of runes can only be found in three places: Kelfo Si Tong, Wozner Bracts and Grupan Bracts, and Kelfran Si Tong from Godland, Sweden.

(Public domain), when we get close to these amulets and sculptures, unexpected things will happen immediately-here is the first part revealed by Professor Agel: when you carefully observe the Kelfo stone runes, the alphabetical order of the runes is different from other amulets.

For example, on Kelfo Stone, the rune ODAL is the last rune, and on Vadstena and Grumpan bractate, the rune DAGAZ is the last rune-the positions of both runes have changed, in contrast, it seems that suddenly Y is listed after Z in our own alphabet.

Today, scholars believe that bracts are a more reliable source, because they are "printed" on amulets and worn by people, while Kelfo stone was carved by one person by hand, which seems to be completed in a hurry, but we can't determine this difference.

Bracts are coins cast after the late emperors in ancient times.

To further illustrate this point, you can see the head of a longhorn bull on the bracts of Wadsenna, and behind it is a human head.

In the late ancient times, it was a sacrificial bull beside Olmert (or Mitra) and a symbol of God.

The god Mesala belongs to Roman soldiers and is called "invincible god". His bracts were worn by soldiers to protect themselves during the war. These bracts have been worn since the late Christianity.

Many German soldiers served in the Roman army, and Emperor Commodus himself was the founder of Messelas, and the number of Messelas among officials and soldiers increased.

The relationship between the northern bract stone and the late ancient coins is obvious, and the naked eye can see that the design is the same.

(Public domain), on the bracts of Vidsena, besides the characters showing runes, there is also a spell printed on it: Tuwatuwa.

Now, Professor Agel began to study whether he could find a password and found some potential magical formulas in this spell.

He continued to number each rune according to its position in the future rune line.

To reiterate, FUTHARK rune lines are A to Z in the rune alphabet: in his method, the rune F stands for the number 1, just like A stands for 1 in our alphabet, the rune Uruz stands for 2, the rune Thurs stands for 3 and so on, until the last rune Dagaz stands for 24.

When he multiplied all the runes of Tuwa Tuwa, he found that it was:17+2+8+4+17+2+8+4 = 62.

This is a disappointing number, because it does not belong to any magical number symbols or patterns that he can understand.

However, Professor Agrell realized that most magical formulas are hidden and unknown to laymen. Until today, this practice has been practiced in all mysterious circles worthy of naming. Why is it different from runes? In the paradox, because he failed to see the clear magic pattern from the spell, he began to believe that the rune line of Warcraft must be a password that confuses and hides the inner meaning of the spell.

He finally took down the first rune, Hu Fei, and put it in the last position.

This shows a new rune line, which is now named Houssack, and Uruz takes the first place.

He used the same concepts we saw on playing cards (also with divination and mysterious roots).

For those who play card games, you may have noticed that when the trump card is in the card pocket, it is the lowest number and is counted as the first, but once you play any game, the trump card suddenly changes and becomes the card with the highest score.

In a similar way, he took Tuwa Tuwa's spell and recalculated it with Yuyou rune. The results show that16+1+7+3+16+1+7+3 = 54.

According to Professor Agrell, in ancient numerology, this revealed the number of Messelas in Tauroctony of Aquileia (public * * *) in the second half of the 2nd century. According to his research, this number also points to Abraham, because his name symbolizes the sphere of the amulet.

Suddenly, his discovery, though profound, has opened the door to many new associations and symbolic meanings. There are too many to mention here, but I want to remind you of some enlightening examples: First, anyone who speaks Scandinavian will know that the word "UR" means the beginning, and the correct attribute of your tid (the beginning of time) and your folket (the first nation)-the "first" rune is you now.

Also in German, it is Ur knall (Big Bang) and Urzeit (Primitive Time).

In the ancient Semitic alphabet, they started with the letter Aleph, which was called ox. The etymology of this word comes from the first letter "A" of the Greek alphabet and is called alfa.

Thucydides, the rune number two means "troll, Thucydides", and the number two is considered as the devil's number: diabolo, duality and conflict.

Now, the value of the rune Ansuz is 3, which he calls the Trinity representing three gods: Odin, Vere and Ve.

Odin rode Slapnier, an Icelandic manuscript of18th century.

In the field of public * * *, there is also a particularly noteworthy association: the famous rune sequence Alil: alu I mentioned-these symbols represent the runes Ansuz, Laguz and Uruz. When you associate Alu with its new "Houssack" number, you will find: (Ansuz stands for 3, Laguz stands for 20, and Uruz stands for 1) 3.

Time and time again, we met this combination and got the number 24 carved by magic. For example, based on the "Lindholmes Amulet", we get other runes and the number 24, such as 8 Ansuzi runes (3×8)= 24, or 3 Tiwaz runes 16×3 = 48, which is 2×24.

The value of all the runes cut into the whole amulet is 2 16, including the 24th and 9th time.

In addition, the number of runes on the amulet is 24, and the amulet of Lindgolm is painted.

In my research for this article, I came across how the number 2 16 was used in darren aronofsky's film Pi. The protagonist found a hidden code in the universe, which is a number 2 16.

In addition to a fictional film, the concept of a God's name with 2 16 letters is revealed from the existing Jewish beliefs.

2 16 letters The name of God, Shehamel Flache- comes from Exodus 19, 20 and 2 1: each section is 72 letters long (72x3=2 16).

Another interesting point worth mentioning is that when you multiply by 6x6x6, you get a total of 2 16, Shem HaMephorash.

In the field of public * * *, the Redo rune has now become the fourth kind: Redo has the etymological meaning of carriage/chariot, and here we get a striking agreement with the Messeras symbol of four-horse carriage, and its sacred number is four.

Saul is also known as the chariot god in Norwegian mythology.

In Trondheim's refuge, believers always give him four loaves of bread.

He is also the protector of the "four directions", and the whole Yuyou rune line now has a new association. Professor Agel emphasizes every connection through his work and research.

The craft and skills of the people who make these amulets will be highly developed in the magic of digital semiotics.

In his research, Professor Agel also practiced the "Gimathian Method", which is a Kabbalistic method, which interprets scriptures by calculating the numerical values of ancient words and names, similar to what I mentioned before.

One night, he did an experiment with his famous number 666 and magic tools.

He summed up the numerology of Roman emperors' names (through their original names in the Bible): Nero, Garba, Otto, Vitri, VesPaasia, Titus and Domitiano, and their original names, and used what he claimed was the ancient numerology method 6 16.

Through his own findings, he argued that 6 16 was an optional number. It was not until 2005, long after his death, that a papyrus 1 15 was revealed, which contained some of the earliest known versions of Revelation. When discussing the number of animals, it revealed 665438+.

A particularly interesting feature is that the number given to the beast by this papyrus paper is 6 16 instead of the usual 666.

(Public domain), Professor Agel showed us the possibility of participating in many associations when manipulating symbols such as runes and their potential meanings, many of which are amazing and mysterious.

Historically, we have been driven to use symbols to explain a high-profile reality, a reality revealed by symbols.

In today's scientific situation, we use numbers to quantify and prove a paper to make it credible: numbers exist in reality as powerful symbols.

When ancient magicians cast spells, they would add numbers to symbols, giving them symbolic integrity and meaning, that is, the future god on Vidsena Brackett.

(public domain), but because it has a lot of materials related to magic works and practices, it is impossible to have a clear overview of all these. It still exists. After all, it is mysterious (hidden) and will always stay there.

However, the fragments we left behind point to a large piece of our ancient history, a fascinating history of exploration, and I believe there will be many new discoveries in the future.

Predictably, Professor Agrell was criticized by more practical scholars in his time.

But no matter what the most logical and academic rune scholars say about him, no one can ignore his extraordinary discovery of Yuyou Rune Street.
