Remember the dimensions of the reference drawing.

Drag the patch out of MAX and resize the picture in the value column on the right.

Open the Material Editor and click the small square behind the diffuse reflection.

Find the bitmap and confirm the imported picture.

Drag the shader onto the patch and display it in the lower right corner of the machine. Right-click the outgoing conversation and select Object Properties, then click OK, and then click the picture to select the freeze current option.

This way, when modeling, it will not move to the screen.
