Introduction of Shijiazhuang Sixian

Shijiazhuang Sixian, also known as String Chamber, String Chamber, Hexi Tune, Drum Chamber, Luoluo Chamber and Daughter's Chamber, is one of the unique ancient operas in Hebei Province and a rare local opera in China. Popular in most parts of Hebei Province, the eastern part of Jinzhong and Yanbei. The origin of Sixian Opera is unknown. It can be considered that the early Sixian Opera evolved on the basis of Yuan Zaju and Ming and Qing folk songs. There are more than 500 kinds of operas in Shixian, Shijiazhuang, among which Empty City, Bailuo Shirt, Little Second Sister's Dream, Kicking My Son-in-law Out, Golden Bell, Yang Jiajiang, Flowers and Candles Hate, Life and Death Card, Zong Ze and Yue Fei are representative operas. 1On May 20th, 2006, Shijiazhuang Sixian was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
