Background of the Hyuga clan

History

The Hyuga Clan is one of the most famous clans in the Konoha Hidden Village, and at one point the Hyuga Clan claimed that "Hyuga is the strongest clan in Konoha", and that the Hyuga Clan's White Eyes, which have been passed down through the generations, come from the mother of the Rokudo Sennin, Otsutsuki Kaguya, and that the White Eyes are also one of the three major pupil arts.

It was mentioned in the first installment that if you want to trace the origin of the Uchiha clan, you'll have to trace it back to the Hyuga clan (in the manga's 671st episode, Rokudou Sennin mentions that his mother, Otsutsuki Kaguya, possesses both the White Eyes and the Sharpening Wheel Eyes, and so the Hyuga clan's Blood Successor White Eyes are inherited from Otsutsuki Kaguya).

The Hyuga clan possesses the Blood Succession Limit White Eyes, so there are many people who want to find out what the Hyuga clan is capable of. In order to protect this bloodline from outsiders, the descendants of the Hyuga are divided into two families, the Sojourners and the Split Families.

The Soun family: the true successors of the Hyuga clan, tasked with protecting and promoting the Hyuga clan. Those who have appeared include Hyuga Hinata, Hyuga Hinata, and Hyuga Hanabi.

Split Family: The guardians of the Hyuga Clan. Responsible for protecting the Hyuga clan family. Those who have appeared include Hyuga Ninji, Hyuga Tokuma, Hyuga Firenze, Hyuga Takashi, and Hyuga Iroha.

There can only be one successor to the clan, and if there are multiple descendants of the clan in the same generation, only one of them can be chosen to succeed the clan, while the rest of the clan is divided into separate families. In other words, there can only be one person in a generation who is a member of the clan. By analogy, even if the Hyuga clan has been around for thousands of years, there is only one clan. And the branch family will always be the guardian of the clan: this family system is the most efficient protection system.

The person who becomes a subclan is required to carve a spell mark on the forehead of a son of the clan when he or she reaches the age of three, which allows the clan to control the subclan by controlling and destroying the subclan's members' cerebral nerves. The spell cannot be lifted until the person's death, and this spell seals the ability of White Eyes.
