What is China's traditional culture?

China people's understanding of cultural types has a long history. The ancients established their own view of cultural types by comparing the farming culture of the Chinese people in the Central Plains with the nomadic culture or fishing and hunting culture of the four surrounding ethnic groups. After the Han Dynasty, they compared the Confucian culture characterized by the spirit of joining the WTO with the Buddhist culture characterized by the spirit of being born in South Asia, further highlighting the type characteristics of local culture. Since modern times, people have defined cultural types from the perspective of comparative culturology. For example, Yan Fu, Li Dazhao and others attribute China culture to "a legal type of agriculture", while Liang classifies China and India into three types of cultures. With the deepening of cultural research, the current discussion on cultural classification is mainly manifested in the following viewpoints. The first opinion is to distinguish cultural types according to geographical environment, and holds that the emergence, evolution, enrichment and development of any national culture are in a specific geographical environment and a unique economy.
