Three common psychotherapy methods

This article will introduce three common psychotherapy methods, namely cognitive therapy, family therapy and group therapy.

Cognitive therapy

Therapists guide visitors into the process of solving problems with an attitude of acceptance, warmth and empathy. This therapy is mainly used to correct patients' distorted thinking.

Family therapy

Taking the family as the unit of treatment and intervention, we can change the unhealthy interaction among family members through nonverbal skills such as talking and behavioral work, so as to eliminate personal psychopathy. This kind of treatment increases the contact and communication between family members, and allows children to open their hearts and fully communicate with their parents.

Group therapy

This method requires therapists to form a group of patients with the same purpose or similar psychological problems, and establish special relationships and dialogues under the background of the group to achieve the purpose of treatment.
