The breathing method of Tai Chi Chuan is very learned in one breath.

At present, there are three ways to practice Tai Ji Chuan's breathing, one is natural breathing; The second is reverse abdominal breathing; The third is abdominal breathing. Natural breathing is easy for everyone to understand, and the latter two are not easy to understand. So I will explain the latter two breathing methods through comparison. In short, there is not much difference between the two.

First of all, the requirements for starting, sucking and calling of Tai Chi in all sects are the same. What do you mean, start breathing? For example, all Tai Ji Chuan's postures are to inhale when the arm is slowly lifted upward. Exhale when your arms slowly drop.

Second, the difference between them is that reverse abdominal breathing is a combination of breathing and breathing. And abdominal breathing means inhaling and exhaling. For example, reverse abdominal breathing is inhalation when holding the ball or pulling back the arm. When the arm moves outward or upward, if the wild horse is maned or flying obliquely, it is exhalation. Abdominal breathing is the opposite.

Third, qi sinks in the abdomen, both of which are the same. However, some boxers still don't know what "Tian" is. I won't explain it theoretically, but I will give you a simple example. If you are a weightlifter, your spirit must sink into your abdomen, otherwise he won't lift the weight you want to lift. The same is true of practicing Tai Ji Chuan. You can't show your breath. You can't contribute in actual combat. Therefore, when the old boxers taught Tai Ji Chuan in the past, they always emphasized how to sink into the abdomen. The example I gave is that on the one hand, it is required to lead God with intention, to achieve strength with spirit, and to transport the body with spirit.

Fourth, it is the mouth-nose breathing method, which is the same. Breathing through the nose and mouth means inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth when practicing boxing. You don't have to open your mouth wide when you exhale. Breathe slowly and evenly.

Fifth, when practicing Tai Ji Chuan, we should follow the two most important principles, that is, the combination of quietness and relaxation with breathing, which is also consistent. When practicing boxing, you should be quiet slowly, have no distractions, breathe smoothly and have nausea. If you relax, you will be more powerful, and you will soon enter the qigong state. Of course, Ren Duer will also transfer wheat for free.

At present, most people who practice Tai Ji Chuan are practicing abdominal breathing. Without the teacher's face-to-face guidance, it is best not to emphasize cooperative breathing.

Chen Taijichuan's breathing method advocates that the way to subdue your strength and sink the qi into the abdomen is to stand upright and consciously cooperate with the movement. The turning flow will feel slowly descending and sink under the belly button, and no hard pressure is allowed.

When practicing boxing, you should be calm, concentrate on the same thing and exercise with your heart. Ask to be calm, forget everything, be calm and carefree, and breathe naturally. This is a way to get rid of distractions, calm your mind, breathe naturally, practice both inside and outside, and have both form and spirit. Use consciousness to guide actions, regulate breathing, and exercise moderately in an extremely quiet mood. Under the basic requirement of "qi sinking in the abdomen", with the change of movement, breathing is in harmony with "internal qi peristalsis", and gradually reaches the requirement of "qi permeating the whole body without being slightly stupid". Through abdominal breathing exercise, as soon as the diaphragm goes up and down, the internal organs do a slight natural massage exercise in a shallow arc, which makes various physiological mechanisms active.

In terms of regulating breathing, Chen He's Taiji Zhuan adopted the "Breathing Method" recorded in China in the 7th century, that is, the breathing method of "leisurely, even, slight, slow" and "neither slow nor ill". This is pure nostril breathing. "Breathing is silent, not stagnant, but continuous. If it exists, it will stop." This breathing method of "only carefully spitting and only continuously accepting" can reduce the frequency of lung ventilation, control breathing, slow down the heartbeat and help people calm down.

Chen taiji's breathing method is not only the breathing method mentioned above, but also the breathing method. This is the breathing method used by Chen's family in Tai Ji Chuan. For example, Chen Fake sometimes uses "mouth breathing and nose breathing" when practicing boxing; Mr. Hong sometimes uses this breathing method. When he is practicing boxing, "his mouth seems to be open, closed, closed, and his mouth is breathing, so let it be." This breathing method can be found in17th century Sun Si's Nature in the Tang Dynasty. This breathing method can be found in17th century's "Ying Qi Method" described in Sun Simiao's "Thousand Jin Fang Yao" in the Tang Dynasty: "Breathe through the nose, breathe through the mouth, spit less, and don't open your mouth"; Spit it out of your mouth and attract people from your nose. Practicing Tai Ji Chuan combined with "Qi Ying Method" is better and gentler than "pranayama method" in terms of treatment and health care, and is more suitable for the weak and sick.

Chen Lao Tai Ji Chuan, according to the amount of exercise, can adopt "pranayama" and "Qi Ying" according to the different requirements of jumping, jumping and strength. When the amount of exercise is large, especially when it is intense, it is necessary to exhale to adapt to the intense speed, so the "pranayama method" is adopted. The amount of exercise varies from person to person, not hard, but natural.
