Where did the art of opera originate?

Opera is a musical form which integrates music, drama, literature, dance and art, and mainly focuses on singing, among which vocal music and instrumental music are important parts of opera. It usually consists of aria, recitation, duet, chorus, overture, interlude and dance scenes.

The origin of opera can be traced back to the tragedy of ancient Greece. At first, it was just a performance form with modern drama.
