Unity of knowing and doing composition

Composition of Unity of Knowing and Doing (1)

Unity of knowledge and action is the core of traditional education in China. We often say that knowledge and action are one, and actions speak louder than words. But these are just words, which have not been translated into practical actions and guidelines for our study, life and work. But to be honest, this article is the focus of China culture, and it is also the focus of China education and culture. There is a saying in The Doctrine of the Mean: "A gentleman gives up halfway with the Tao, and I will certainly do it." The simple meaning is: some people understand the truth and follow it, but they give up halfway because of their great strength, but I (Confucius) will not stop there.

When it comes to composition, some mothers say: I understand everything, but it's so difficult to do it! This is a problem. In life and work, you will also encounter such a problem: you understand the truth, but you just don't do it. Even if you do, you will give up halfway. If a person wants to make a difference, he must first understand and recognize it ideologically and consciously. Ideological and conscious understanding is only the beginning. Without action, ideological and conscious understanding is only a little knowledge or understanding. As the saying goes: know without doing it, especially when you don't know.

In the Analects of Confucius, Confucius once admitted that he had made mistakes in understanding people. He said that when he first visited people, he listened to them and believed in their actions. This view was later corrected. To understand a person, you should listen to his words and watch his actions. We usually make the following mistakes: First, we prefer smart people to relatively stupid people. Secondly, I like to judge whether a person is smart or stupid by his language. Identifying and judging people in this way often leads to great misjudgment. It is one thing to look at a person's language expression and ideological understanding, but it is more important to look at whether his actions are effective and whether he can prove his thoughts and consciousness. You can't judge a person's quality and intelligence simply by his language expression.

Some mothers say that the truth is understandable, but it is so difficult to do it! This is the same as not saying anything. The reason is clear-it seems that I want to deny that I am stupid, but it is so difficult to do so-it seems that I am denying that I am smart. On the other hand, the reason is clear-that is to say, you are smart; But it's so hard to do-in fact, it further proves your stupidity. The reason is actually very simple. An accomplished person is by no means a person who only knows ideas; An accomplished person is often the one who carries out actions. As the saying goes: action is better than action, which is also the truth. And a low-level mistake we often make is: I know, I know, but I just don't take action. When we know people and things in life, we also make a simple and low-level mistake. We often listen to others and foreign things and believe in their actions. For myself, I often just talk and don't do it. So in our life, there are three kinds of bullying: self-deception, deceiving others and being bullied. We usually say JUSTDOIT in English, not JUSTTHINKIT, which fully shows the importance of action. How profound and wonderful you think, but it doesn't mean anything if you can't turn it into action. Just like a person who can't swim, no matter how profound swimming theories and textbooks he writes, such theories and textbooks are useless.

From the perspective of the unity of knowledge and action, the story of "a fool moves mountains" shows that the stupidity of a fool lies in moving mountains rather than moving. Wisdom of Zhisou-Zhizai does have reason to think that such a move of mountains is stupid. On the other hand, the final conclusion proves that fools are not stupid, but not wise. That's because Yugong is smart and smart, and the stupidity of the wise Yugong is manifested in his bright head and slippery mouth, but he has no action. Therefore, don't just stay on the wisdom of thought and consciousness, and don't just stay on the knowledge of mouth. We should turn the wisdom and knowledge of thought, consciousness and mouth into the wisdom of action. This is what smart people do.

Unity of knowledge and action is the focus of education in China. In the past, this idea needed to be studied by the ancients. For example, in the first chapter of The Amethyst, people say that they don't learn and don't know justice. Teachers or peers, please cherish them. In this chapter, I didn't talk about how to know a certain number or an article at first. "People don't learn but don't know righteousness" is about the purpose of learning-knowing righteousness. How do you know righteousness? Be close to teachers and friends and learn manners. "Learning from foreigners to control foreigners" is not a category of knowledge, but a category of action.

In our generation, we are always talking about knowledge. Our next generation doesn't know the importance of doing things. There is even less understanding of the concept of "doing". Our next generation is talking about knowledge when doing math and exercises, but how many of them can do chemical experiments well? Can you take physics experiments seriously? From north to south, from left to west, from right to east, they all memorized it, but nine times out of ten, they couldn't find grandma's door when they threw him into the downtown area. Strong ability to do problems, but poor ability to do problems. The choice of the answer is good, but the ability to innovate is almost lost.

"Four Books" or "Five Classics", in classical culture, the integration of knowledge and practice is a very important educational concept. Earlier, we talked about "Listen to what he says and observe what he does" in The Analects of Confucius and so on. For another example, there is a poem in Reading on a Winter Night: I feel shallow at the end of the article and don't know what to do. For example, when we read the Warring States Period, Zhao Kuo was an armchair strategist. Understanding these allusions is very, very important for understanding this concept.

Nowadays, education has done a lot of harm. In today's educational philosophy, the concept of action has long been put aside, which is too harmful. Just like the growth of a tree, it is necessary to have both "knowledge" and "behavior", and both are indispensable. Now only "knowledge" is emphasized, and "line" is almost ignored, so the tree that grows must be deformed. In the San Zi Jing, why should we talk about getting close to teachers and friends and learning etiquette from the beginning? On the basis of "getting close to teachers and friends and learning etiquette", we can know a certain number, recognize a certain article and talk about the unity of knowledge and action. Education that knows but does not act is abnormal education. Just turn the knowledge around in your mind and show it between your eyebrows-when your eyebrows wrinkle, you will suffer. To put it more seriously, it is bad luck. Therefore, Confucius said in The Doctrine of the Mean that there is nothing I can do if a gentleman follows the Tao and gives up halfway. I won't be such a person. Don't say I can't just know, but I know everything. A person's success must be done. This truth is very simple, but because we lack the influence on traditional culture, how many people can know it, and how many people can know it by talking every day and shouting every month? Unity of knowledge and action, the seed of this concept, must be planted in children's hearts from an early age. If you don't plant this seed when you are young, you will have problems when you grow up.

Now some well-known things are popular on the Internet. Let me give you two examples: one is the recent incident of poisonous capsules, and an expert actually said that eating six capsules a day is harmless to the human body. Such intellectuals can be said to have lost their conscience as intellectuals. It may not matter in theory, but as far as "action" is concerned, it is a challenge to the common sense of public life. In the second example, there is a place in Hunan where five or six people died because of the collapse of the flood bridge. The collapsed bridge can hardly see any steel bars from the internal structure. But in fact, experts will come out and say that bridge collapse is normal and the public need not make a fuss.

They are playing with knowledge, numbers, concepts and science, and they belong to listening to their words. For the sake of thread, for the people's psychological endurance and for the people's psychological concern-"thread", they are simply idiots. Fundamentally speaking, these people are all "knowledge" education, while "action" education is almost blank. It's just that in the Three Kingdoms period, they were articulate and polite, but in fact, they had no social common sense, moral common sense and ethical common sense. These people who only know data, science and concepts are people who endanger society.

Therefore, from the root, it is necessary to really let children have the consciousness of unity of knowledge and action, and actions speak louder than words. The establishment of this awareness should begin with our parents present here. You can't just say: I know, but I just don't do it. The reason for learning composition is the same. We can't simply say: after listening to the class, I know all the principles, methods and skills that the teacher said, but I don't practice it myself. There is a difference between knowledge and knowing. Knowledge only exists in the memory of the brain, and knowing "Tao" is an ability that has been transformed through practice. Only knowing what you can't do is knowledge; To do what you know is to know the Tao. Knowing and not doing it, you know all the ten thousand truths in Qian Qian, and it won't work. Only by combining knowledge with practice can we produce true knowledge! This is the way to learn composition, and it is also the way to get enlightenment in work and life. We should emphasize execution in our work. Without execution and action, it is absolutely impossible to learn composition.

Composition of the Unity of Knowing and Doing (2)

As the name implies, knowing what to do must be combined with action to be perfect. As the saying goes, "It's better to retreat and form a net. Nothing ventured, nothing gained."

When you have a good idea, you should act at once. Of course, there will be many problems before the action. Although we don't know whether we can remove obstacles before action, I can overcome difficulties in action. Tell myself I can't do it. That's definitely impossible unless there is a miracle. If you really think so? That's all wet! I believe there will be miracles in the world, because you are a miracle and you are your own god. Miracles can't help you succeed if you don't act.

I have been waiting, waiting for a good opportunity, waiting for a condition that can be 100% sure of success, but I have fallen into an eternal wait. Even if it is a small matter, always wait until all the conditions are met before starting to act. What are we waiting for? Can it really wait? What can we do when we get there? Maybe you have to wait for us all your life, and then do you have a chance to refute it? No, I don't believe it, because "success lasts forever? People who are prepared ",not people who only know how to wait forever. If you just wait for the right time, I'm afraid you'll miss the best opportunity of your life. Because of this, many people can't do one thing all their lives. Only those who think and act can change the status quo.

There is such a little boy with ordinary qualifications and nothing extraordinary. He wanted to be a monitor when he was a child, and he was re-elected as monitor for three years. When he was in college, he fell in love with the beauty queen and finally became her husband in the jealous eyes of many boys. After graduating from college, he wants to start a company. Three years later, the company became a TV station. When he was in his thirties, he suddenly wanted to learn to draw. As a result, he successfully held an art exhibition in his forties.

When others envied him, he said, "I am ordinary, with no intelligence or great ambition." I just want to do it. " Whatever the outcome, I don't think I lost. "

He is Mr. Yu Danqing, a famous painter in China.

The saddest sentence in the world is: I should have done that, but I didn't.

I used to just think about it, but I didn't actually act. It's her, Wang Lulu, a beautiful girl. As the name implies, she is not beautiful, but ... she gave me motivation and let me know that I can't indulge myself any more. Do it all day, act when you think about it, and wait until tomorrow. "Tomorrow is tomorrow, how many tomorrows will there be?" How many tomorrows do I have? Thousands of days have passed me by.

I am happy for myself, because I have achieved the unity of knowing and doing. It was really not easy at first, but I'm not afraid of having such an opponent that makes me stressed. Sincerely say thank you ~! I hope that one day we can be friends who talk about everything.

Composition of the Unity of Knowing and Doing (3)

The word "unity of knowledge and action" was put forward as early as the third year of Ming Chengzu Zheng De. Wang Shouren, a psychologist, gave a speech at Guiyang Institute of Civilization, and put forward the theory of "the unity of knowing and doing" for the first time. The so-called knowledge is the knowledge in your mind, and action is practice. Unity of knowing and doing is unity of knowing and doing.

The integration of knowledge and practice is almost everywhere in contemporary society, from the bosses of large enterprises to ordinary electricians, they are all practicing and exploring with the knowledge in their heads. And only by talking, very few people get rich. Even liars should innovate ways of cheating.

The story of an armchair strategist in 208 BC has long been a household name in China. It tells the story of Zhao She's sons, Zhao Kuo and Zhao, who led troops to fight, but did not change according to the art of war, thus losing the battle. This story tells us directly how important it is to combine knowledge with practice. Empty talk can't solve any practical problems. Just as people improved the steam engine at that time, if we just talked about his improved method without solving its problems in actual production, there would be no later Watt and the industrial revolution that changed the world. The British physicist Joule invented the perpetual motion machine after several sleepless nights. After ten years, he didn't succeed. Because "perpetual motion machine" cannot exist at all, this assumption itself violates the law of conservation of mass in physics, so it is meaningless for the purpose of inventing perpetual motion machine alone.

As a scientist, Joule is far more knowledgeable than ordinary people, but she was confused when she decided to do this research that violated the laws of nature, and finally failed. Children must have scalded their hands to know that the fire is hot, iced their hands to know that the snow is cold, eaten sugar to know that the sugar is sweet, and touched the stone to know that the stone is hard. All these feelings are driven by walking. Only by "knowing" can they know that fire can't be touched, ice can't be taken often, sugar can't be eaten more, and stones can't be touched hard. Only by combining knowledge with practice can you get real knowledge. In fact, the unity of knowing and doing is actually an attitude of doing things. Don't start making things up in your head before you do it, but summarize while you do it, and finally make yourself stronger step by step.
