What's the difference between the fog screen display?
The difference between LCD and LED is the difference of backlight; IPS is one of the technologies of liquid crystal display. Fog screen is an LCD screen with frosted polarizer on the outermost layer. (Simply put, the LCD screen is called according to the difference of backlight, substrate and polarizer).
LED (short for light emitting diode) refers to the LCD panel with LED as backlight (in fact, this is a misunderstanding caused by LCD manufacturers. A real LED display is composed of small LED module panels, and each luminous LED is a pixel, instead of LED backlight LCD);
LCD is a liquid crystal panel using traditional CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) as light source.
Compared with the two, the biggest advantages are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:
First of all, the thickness of LCD with LED backlight will be further reduced.
Second, it has longer service life, lower power consumption and more environmental protection.
Third, the color expression of LED backlight screen is far better than CCFL.
IPS (in-plane switching) screen, commonly known as hard screen, is a LCD panel technology introduced by Hitachi in 200 1. The biggest feature of IPS panel is that its two poles are on the same plane, unlike other LCD electrodes which are arranged vertically. This technology optimizes the arrangement mode of liquid crystal molecules and adopts horizontal arrangement mode. When encountering external pressure, the molecular structure sinks slightly downward, but the whole molecule is still horizontal. When encountering external force, the sturdiness and stability of hard screen liquid crystal molecular structure are far better than soft screen! Therefore, the picture will not be distorted and the color of the picture will be affected, and the picture effect can be protected from damage to the greatest extent.
The main advantages are: fast response, large viewing angle (up to 178 degrees), true color, no watermark for touch, etc.
Fog screen, accurately speaking, should not be called fog screen, but crystalline silicon frosted surface, which is characterized by astigmatism, anti-side peep and high safety. Because the surface is rough, the light will diffuse when it hits it, and it will not be dazzling from any angle, so you can see the reflected light.
Fog screen is relative to mirror screen. In the case of reflection, you can still see the image on the screen, which is caused by the fog on the frosted screen surface and the diffuse reflection of light. With anti-glare function, the screen will not have strong reflection to affect the line of sight, and the relative light transmittance is not as high as that of the mirror screen. The surface hardness is low, and the general hardness is only 2H.
Mirror screen has high light transmittance and clear image without reflection, but the reflection problem is serious, so it is difficult to see the screen clearly with reflection. The surface hardness is higher than that of fog surface, and the hardness is 3H.
