Straw weaving process history
China's knitting technology has a history of thousands of years. According to archaeological findings, the origin of pottery in primitive society is closely related to earlier weaving techniques. The earliest pottery was made by putting clay on woven or wooden containers by bodiless method. Among the Neolithic cultural sites excavated in Xing Wu, Zhejiang Province, there are grain baskets, mats and fishing tools woven from bamboo and straw. Among the Tang Dynasty relics unearthed in Xinjiang, there are crates produced in the mainland. It can be seen that about 6000 years ago, our ancestors had mastered the herringbone weaving method that has been passed down to this day.
