What month is the Japanese festival?
Sansha Matsuri takes place on August 15 every year and is a traditional Japanese festival.
The Sansha Matsuri is the festival of Asakusa Shrine, which is the largest traditional festival celebration in Tokyo, and is known as one of the three major festivals of Edo (the former name of Tokyo). At the festival, people dressed in Edo period costumes carry a mikoshi (portable shrine) to celebrate the Sanja Matsuri. Date and time of the festival: Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the third week of May
