Illustrate food-how to draw food

Food illustration feeling sharing Four food series illustrations have been completed. When painting, they are all foods that they really want to eat. Many details are rough and uneven in shape. Many times I have no confidence in my paintings and feel that I have not made progress. However, a few days ago, these paintings were recommended to the home page by the official operation of the pulse. I am both surprised and grateful. I am really happy that my painting can be affirmed by others, and I have the motivation to continue painting. So I decided to make a comeback after each series of paintings, share them with friends who love painting, think about what I still lack, and hope to be with them.

First, the painting process

Painting tools: computer PS, hand-drawn board

Brush: hard edge pressure opacity (draft line), soft color oil crayon (coloring), delicate chalk and chalk (highlighting texture)

Second, share ideas.

This series of paintings are delicious, and I like to eat them, so I didn't spend too much time in painting and found a lot of relevant information. Take one of them as an example.

Because Lamian Noodles was painted, I found some side dishes and some fruits related to Lamian Noodles, replaced the elements in the original picture, and then arranged them in combination. This series of compositions are all from a overlooking perspective, so try to find pictures from the same perspective when looking for materials; Color matching is to find an ice cream color card on the petals. It feels small and fresh. At first, I absorbed its color and thought it was too light. Then I think people think this food is delicious in their daily life. The first thing they see is color. The brighter the color of food, the more people want to eat it, so I choose high brightness and high saturation colors to match, and the final effect is not bad.

Several elements to complete an illustration are nothing more than composition reference, character or object reference, color matching reference, plus your own understanding and control of the picture, that is, technical reference. These elements are mutual in illustrations, and every step should be taken seriously.

Third, personal feelings.

Drawing illustrations is often closely related to our lives. Many references come from our lives. Observe the things around you and keep them in mind. It's good to remember. Always bring a notebook to record your inspiration. Since I started to be a full-time illustrator, I will subconsciously think about their decoration style, color matching, object placement and so on. Let me have a deep understanding of things around me, exercise my thinking, observe life and the world, and you will re-examine your relationship with the world and find your own illustration language.

When I first started to learn illustration, I always unconsciously turned myself into a dead end. See others draw well, always compare. Why didn't I make progress? This kind of mood can easily make you on the verge of collapse, and it is also easy for you to give up painting. Later, I gradually realized that everyone started and paced differently. We just need to compare ourselves. As long as it is a little better than yesterday, it is also a great encouragement. The meaning of painting itself is not to be compared with others. This process is a process of dialogue with yourself. Being yourself is also a rare happiness in life.

Finally, I hope to grow up with friends who like painting. If I like it, I will keep one I like.

At that time, food was turned into illustrations. Have you lost your tradition? At that time, food was turned into illustrations. Have you lost your tradition?

How many young people can fully remember the 24 solar terms is probably rare. The setting of solar terms by the ancients was extremely scientific, and some seasonal dietary changes were also in line with the constitution of China people.

Now the twenty-four solar terms are gradually forgotten by young people, but a young man painted all the twenty-four solar terms as seasonal food illustrations. These illustrations won the German Red Dot Communication Design Award, which not only spread the culture of China, but also sounded the alarm for us:

On the day when spring begins, people in China pay attention to buying a radish to eat, which is called biting spring.

In China, on the second day of the second lunar month, dragons look up, and the custom is to eat Longxu Noodles.

It is very meaningful to eat cold noodles on the solstice in summer.

It is a custom in the south to eat fairy grass to relieve summer heat in hot and humid weather.

As soon as the delicious summer is over, there is nothing delicious in autumn, so there are hairy crabs.

When winter comes, it's perfect to eat these high-calorie foods!

Heavy snow, meat can be stored for a long time, so there is bacon.

In the cold, eat high-calorie foods such as meat every day to resist the cold. At this time, it is time to supplement the body's dietary fiber to balance the body.

What a wise summary. It can be said that without the wise summary of the ancients, there would be no life today.

Do you remember the twenty-four solar terms? We have been taken away by the stick during the Dragon Boat Festival, but when we were filled with indignation, we found that we didn't even remember the 24 solar terms. ....

Tradition cannot be lost! We can't let others help us remember and inherit our traditions!

Hand-painted pictures of colored lead

Draw a simple illustration with colored lead: prepare work, sharpen colored pencils, prepare 0.5 and 0.7 mechanical pencil, black pen or gel pen, thick and delicate sketch paper or sketch picture book, compass.

Can be used at any time.

Take out the compass and put in the refill.

Use compasses to draw a circle suitable for your size on sketch paper or picture book.

If A4 paper is used, it is suggested that the distance from the top edge of the circle to the paper edge is about 2cm.

Draw a draft in the circle with mechanical pencil.

Draw the picture you want according to the object or copy.

Pay attention to the light handwriting for correction.

Then use a pen or gel pen to determine the lines and draw the outside.

The lines should be smooth, even and beautiful.

I like to order peony flowers first.

The method of coloring, using Bordeaux or rose pencil, starts from the root of the petal and then gradually fades to the edge, so that the color has a gradual effect, a strong three-dimensional sense and a sense of hierarchy.

Then use dark green, light green and lake blue pencils to color the leaves.

The color near the main stem is a little darker, the root of each leaf is dark green with a little blue, and the tip of each leaf is depicted with a little khaki.

Let the color have gradient and transition effects.

Make the picture more beautiful.

Finally, erase the remaining lines with an eraser and decorate them.

Beautiful peony pastel painting will appear in front of your eyes.

Note: when drawing a draft, write lightly.

Correcting or erasing misplaced pencil lines is too heavy.

Grasping the main physical features, it is easier to draw the outline with the simplest lines.

If you sketch, you should grasp the contrast between highlights and dark parts, and you can draw them in different regions.

You can read a sketch book.

Personal understanding does not let you highlight every point, only the most prominent features are the most important.

I hope I can help you.

The sunset glow grows rapidly and can be used as an eye-catching fence landscape.

As early as more than 1000 years ago, it was involved in the story of Genji Pillow Grass in Japan, and ancient Japanese liked to use it as the name of women.
