Where is Zhou Bapi from?

Heping village people

Who is Zhou Pipi? This man is a bully landlord and a famous villain written by the famous writer Gao Yubao. In order to let the laborers do more work, "Zhou Pipi" got up in the middle of the night to learn to crow, and let the laborers work (it is clearly stipulated in the deed of sale that they should get up to work when they crow), because there were no timekeeping tools such as clocks and watches before, and the laborers got up when they crowed and reworked at sunset, and Zhou Pipi crowed in the middle of the night to let those laborers get up early to work for him. Long-term workers hate this kind of "weekly skinning" and finally can't stand it. It was Bao Xiao, a small laborer, who taught "Zhou skinned" a lesson.

Zhou Bapi was later compared to a famous example of the landlord class by the world, and Zhou's nickname was shared by the Zhou family.

In the middle of the night, the rooster told the landlord Zhou Pipi to crow like a rooster every night, and then told the long-term workers who had just fallen asleep to work in the fields. As time went on, the long-term workers began to doubt the premature crowing of chickens. In order to find out this matter, one night, Bao Xiao, a small laborer, hid behind the cart and observed the movement in the yard alone. After a while, he saw Zhou skinned quietly coming to the chicken coop, craning his neck to imitate the cock crow, and then poking the chicken coop with a stick until the cock crow, and he didn't leave.

Bao Xiao told the long-term workers what he saw. Everyone was very angry and went to sleep in the fields. After dawn, Zhou peeled his skin and went to the field to see that the long-term workers were sleeping. He raised the stick, swearing and hitting. Unwilling to be oppressed, the long-term laborer came up with a way to deal with Zhou Pipi: that night, just as Zhou Pipi was learning to crow in front of the henhouse, Bao Xiao, who was hiding in the dark, shouted, "Stop thief!" Long-term workers who had already prepared came running over and beat Zhou to pieces. When the landlord heard the news, it showed that his old club had been beaten, and everyone stopped and deliberately showed surprise. The landlord reluctantly helped Zhou peel the skin back to the house, and the long-term workers all laughed happily.

Also said that Zhou skinned.

Inscription: This article is taken from my forthcoming manuscript "The Real Gao Yubao" (tentative name). Now the title is changed.

For some time, there have been many articles on the Internet that belittle and praise Zhou Pipi. To treat the former, some people fabricate materials out of thin air, and their remarks are almost defamatory. As for the latter, some people want to rehabilitate it and clear its name, and some even clamor to learn from it and inherit its spirit.

To be fair, these two people, like most of us, one is not perfect and the other is not useless. No one is perfect. In fact, we don't have to "belittle Zhou" in isolation, unilaterally or cut off history, nor should we criticize them and whitewash them.

A few days ago, on June 65438+1October 2 1 in 2008, I visited the old man in Gao Yubao again for this discussion on the Internet, and wanted to ask him to talk about his own views. I showed him all these phenomena and asked him questions one by one. Regarding these phenomena, Gao Lao said that he has attracted his attention and has long wanted to sit down and talk calmly with people with different views.

As for my questions, for example, how should we read and understand your autobiographical novels Gao Yubao and Gao Yubao Sequel? Is autobiographical equivalent to autobiography? The autobiography is true. Are autobiographical works also true? How should we treat the people and things in the above two books, including Gao Yubao?

Gao Lao's answer is simple and to the point. When talking about his relationship with the protagonist in the book, he repeated the words of 16 that many readers have long known: "It seems that I am not me, he has me; What you see and hear is summarized in a concentrated way. "

In that case, I understand that both books are far from autobiographies. In other words, they contain many fictional elements. In this regard, Gao Lao did not raise any objection. Gao Lao said that what he originally wrote was really the same as his autobiography, and they were all true stories. For example, he has three grandfathers and two sisters, which he wrote. After the expert's guidance, it was rewritten into the so-called "autobiographical novel" that was "processed by literature". Today, Gao Lao can't tell the exact definition of this literary genre and the scale that should be grasped.

According to Gao Lao, when he started writing a book, he only wrote a few hundred words and never learned any literary creation theory. Even though he wrote the first draft of "Gao Yubao" and attended the original Central South Cultural Congress with honor, he still made a fool of himself. He doesn't know who Mr. Lu Xun is or what nationality Gorky is. "I thought Gorky belonged to our gaos thought."

I then asked: Is peeping Zhou a real person? Gao Lao's answer is yes. He said: "Zhou Bapi is a bully landlord with a bloody case. When he was criticized, he was really killed by an angry crowd. He did much more evil and ugly things than I wrote in the book. I left him enough face. Of course, realistically speaking, there are no deviations or mistakes in implementing policies or treating everyone throughout the country during the land reform. Not only land reform, but also any movement in our country. Regarding Zhou's peeling, it seems meaningless to discuss what ingredients should be delineated, whether it should be rehabilitated, and whether it should be rehabilitated. Because, his descendants, there is absolutely no need to carry any' baggage' for him. "

At the end of the visit, Gao Lao felt deeply sorry. After changing it into an autobiographical novel, he felt that he should not use some people's real names. Among them, including both Zhou Pipi and himself.

Mr. Lu Zhuguo, a famous military writer in China, once said in the preface to the sequel to Gao Yubao: "I think Gao Yubao 50 years ago had more autobiographical elements than novels; Now, the sequel to Gao Yubao has more novel elements than autobiography, or the artistic content of this book has surpassed that of Gao Yubao 50 years ago. "

Zhou Bapi's real name is Zhou Chunfu, and he is a bully landlord.

Here, it is really a matter of reason to set up a "monument" for him.

First of all, whether in the novel Gao Yubao or in real life, Zhou skinned Gao Yubao greatly. Secondly, Zhou Bapi is a very individual character, and his popularity has caused a lot of controversy.

Zhou Bapi is a wealthy landlord in Heping Village. He is not tall, but his mind is full of brains and intestines. A pair of sly eyes are always going round and round, always staring at other people's things. His stomach is so crooked that no one can fully see through his tricks on the poor. Even his wife, son and daughter-in-law can't figure out how many tricks he has on his family and outsiders.

After the Japanese occupied the village, in order to win people's hearts, they sometimes distributed some matches, soybean oil and flour to the poor.

Matches were hard to buy at that time, and most people used sickles to make fires. During Chinese New Year and Chinese New Year, the Japanese only give each household a box. This match was distributed to the poor through the grocery store opened by the landlord Zhou Pipi. Originally, there was not much in a box of matches, but on Sunday, I took out some more When the poor man came to collect matches, he asked him why there were so few. Zhou skinned a sneer: "Hum, aren't you enough? Don't take too little! You don't want it, forget it! "

Look, that's Zhou's skin.

Soybean oil prepared by the Japanese is not good soybean oil either. When I arrived at Pippi Zhou, I also deducted a lot. Zhou Bapi is a very smart and patient person (Dalian dialect). He boiled red sorghum with shells into soup, mixed with soybean oil and distributed it to the poor. The poor people couldn't bear to eat the soybean oil they brought back, so they kept it for their ancestors to burn during the Chinese New Year, but it couldn't burn. It finally came on, but it went out with a sound of "Yi Yi".

To say that the white flour given by the Japanese is not good flour, it is all covered. Even so, once there, he still has to "peel" a layer of skin. He asked people to sift out the fine flour with fine reeds and keep it for himself, and then ground the white corn planted in the country into flour and mixed it in to give it to the poor. When the poor come home, they want to use it to celebrate the New Year in jiaozi and give it to their poor ancestors. However, when jiaozi put it in the pot, it was all broken. He not only let the living poor have a bad year, but also let the ancestors of the poor have a bad year.

It was like this at the time. The plundering of Japanese devils and the exploitation of landlords' old wealth made it impossible for the poor to survive. Zhou scalping and Japanese devils do all kinds of evil to the poor, and have already planted the seeds of hatred in Yubao's heart. No matter how many years have passed, and no matter how the society changes, when it comes to the landlord and Zhou Pipi, it is still fresh in my memory. It can be seen that he is by no means the kind of person who forgets the pain after getting rid of the scar!

Gao Yubao divided landlords into three types: foreign landlords, semi-foreign landlords and terrapin landlords. In his view, foreign landlords are landlords who have factories and shops in the city, manors in the village, live alone in the city, have many wives, have lights and telephones upstairs and downstairs, and their children can be sent to school. Semi-foreign landlords, who live in the suburbs of the city, mainly cultivate land with employees and also open shops and factories in the city. Influenced by foreign landlords, they also take wives and concubines and send their children to school. Terrapin landlords refer to landlords who can only hire people to farm and open workshops in rural areas and rarely send their children to school when they have money.

Zhou Bapi is a landlord of terrapin. The children in his family can't read casually. There is a rule in Zhou Bapi that the eldest son can only go to school for four years and take money from the family's property. None of the other children can go to school. So when his children were young, they had to stay at home and pout.

At that time, there was no school around Sunjiatun. Few people can read. Zhou scalped money to keep children from reading. Children from poor families want to study and have no money. None of the other landlords are like Zhou Pipi. There are no local schools, so they send their children to Fuzhou or Wafangdian to study. Individual landlords also sent their children to schools in colonial Dalian.

When Zhou's five sons grow up, some drive carts, some run powder mills, some run oil mills and some run dyeing mills. What the child does has a division of labor, which is decided by Zhou peeing.

Zhou Paipi not only exploited the poor, but also was very harsh on his family except his wife. He is even more haggle over every ounce for his daughter-in-law. Several daughters-in-law take turns cooking, cooking, cleaning, grinding or going back to their parents' home, or they can be busy at home. However, be sure to take your places and don't sneak around.

Zhou Bapi, the landlord of terrapin, usually wears a cloth belt around his waist like most men in the village. When he went out, he had a dung basket on his shoulder and a dung fork in his hand. When he sees people's feces, he also picks them up. He not only picks it up by himself, but also often orders his children and grandchildren to pick it up. He told his children and grandchildren that there was shit in the south and a pile of cow dung in the east.

Hearing this, the children and grandchildren rolled up their baskets and hurried there. Really? Don't! The silly child went out for a walk and came back empty-handed and got a beating: "Idiot!" " Someone else picked it up. Go out and get it for me before you come back for dinner. "Smart children look everywhere as soon as they go out and come back when they find it. Zhou skinned it and said with a smile, "Hey hey! Pour it into the pigsty! Eat quickly! "

Zhou peeled very hard. When he didn't invite his grandson to dinner, his daughters-in-law kept silent. He scolds his wife if he wants, and fights if he wants. My daughter's family couldn't stand it anymore, so she came out to intercede and was skinned by Zhou. Zhou skinned: "It's none of your business! It was my Zhou family who entered my house. This is my family rule. "

Zhou Paipi is mean to his daughter-in-law. It's not bad to make tofu for them at noon on New Year's Eve, even if it's the New Year. Even this tofu rice, he didn't let his wife eat well. He provoked this daughter-in-law to make trouble behind the back of that daughter-in-law, and made the daughters-in-law blush and have thick necks. Daughters-in-law got angry and stopped eating. If you don't eat it, you'll save him a week of peeling.

However, Zhou Paipi is different from his wife. He is the head of the family! Every Chinese New Year holiday, Lao Zhou has to skin pigs and slaughter sheep. He cut the meat into cubes, cooked it with the internal organs and preserved it for him and his wife to enjoy slowly. And get some chicken and duck eggs for them to eat Sun Jiatun is not too far from the seaside, so he soon asked his men to go to the seaside to get some seafood to satisfy him and his wife.

When Zhou peeled off his skin and prepared to eat, he put a wide table 8 inches high on the kang. The table is full of chickens, ducks and fish. The wife is sitting inside the kang, and he is sitting outside the kang. Every meal every week, you should peel the skin and drink some red wine brewed in a vat. Several daughters-in-law stood in front of the kang to wait on them. This one is for pouring wine, that one is for picking vegetables, and some of them are specially used for delivering water and making tea. You have to fan him on a hot day.

Zhou took a sip of wine, ordered food, put down chopsticks, narrowed his eyes and thought for a long time. Then, take another sip of wine, eat some food, close your eyes and think for a long time. No one knows what he is thinking. After dinner, his wife leaned over and fell asleep. He was still there drinking, eating and tasting slowly. It takes a long time to eat a meal. Daughters-in-law can't go back to the house to get their own food until he finishes eating and cleans up.

Zhou stripped his daughter-in-law badly and his son badly. He let his son eat the same food as the long-term workers. Three meals a day, eating corn, millet and sorghum. Dishes are nothing more than potatoes, radishes and Chinese cabbage. However, Zhou has policies on scalping and children have countermeasures. After staying at home for a few days without eating meat, he ran outside to satisfy his desire and ate and drank seawater behind his father's back. Anyway, they have plenty of money in their hands and hide it.

Zhou skinned this person is very strange! He is not only stingy and thoughtful, but also wants everything, otherwise he will steal it in another way.

There is an old lady named Mu in Heping Village. She is over 70 years old. She has little feet, three inches of golden lotus, and can't walk steadily. The family is very poor. At that time, the countryside usually broke the gourd into a gourd ladle. Mrs. Mu planted a particularly good gourd in the greenhouse of her garden. That gourd is so big and beautiful that everyone likes it. Every day, the old lady trembles and carries a crock to water the gourd. From spring to summer, from summer to autumn.

On this day, as usual, Mrs. Mu came slowly under the gourd rack with a can of water. She suddenly found that some gourds that were about to be picked were missing. Angry, the old lady scolded the street every day: "whose child is not sensible and stole my gourd." I'm so old, can you leave me two? Just leave one Who stole my gourd? It wasn't a man, it was a quadruped! "

One morning, Mrs. Mu scolded again. When Zhou Bapi saw Mrs. Mu pointing and swearing, the cat smiled and walked up to the old lady, pretending to be a good person: "Old sister-in-law, what are you cursing?"

Mrs. Mu told Zhou Bapi: "Which short-lived person stole the gourd at home."

Zhou skinned, first stunned, and then blinked. Seeing no one around, he approached the old lady and said in her ear, "Old sister-in-law, don't scold me in the future. Look how ugly you scold! I tell you, don't say I said it. "

Jose old lady nodded.

Zhou peeped around again and whispered, "The other day, I saw Yan's second boy. He has been looking at your gourd since he passed by. I think nine times out of ten he stole it. " Zhou was humming a ditty with his hands on his back, and soon slipped away from Mrs. Mu.

Since then, Mrs. Mu has been dissatisfied with the streets and kept cursing. She targeted Yan's second boy. Every time Yan's second boy walks by her, she will spit "bah" and then scold.

Yan's second boy has been kept in the dark and ignored. You scold you, you spit on you, and I go my way. Look at an old lady this age. There is no need to argue with her. In this way, I scolded for several years. Until the land reform, local tyrants, and land distribution.

At that time, I had finished my carpentry and returned to the village to join the Yan family and become a militia. Zhou Bapi has been detained by the militia. Zhou Bapi's home was also sealed. When peeling vegetables for her family every week, Mrs. Mu always takes a small pocket. As soon as she entered the granary, she saw at a glance several gourds she had stolen, lying one by one in Zhou's peeled grain depot.

Just Yan's second boy is also sharing food for everyone. The old lady took Yan's second brother by the hand and said breathlessly, "Second brother, I'm sorry!" " I scolded you for years. Lao Zhou skinned me and told me that after you stole the gourd, I didn't name you, I called you, I called you! "

Yan Jia's second son is a hothead. Hearing this, he was so angry that he stopped fighting and didn't divide his meal. He picked up the gourd, turned and ran out. He tied the gourd with a rope and hung it around Zhou Bapi's neck. Another tall hat is attached to Zhou Bapi. He also temporarily asked someone to write a pair of couplets and let Zhou peel the skin and carry it on his back. The couplet reads: "Zhou peeled off his old white hair and stole gourd and boiled water gourd."

When everything was ready, he and several militiamen led Zhou Paipi around the village with ropes. Zhou Bapi was walking in the village with a broken gong in his hand, knocking and shouting, "Zhou Bapi is old and white, stealing gourds and cooking water hyacinths." He gave a cry, and so did the children walking around him. The children shouted once, and everyone along the way laughed. Zhou skinned his skull and didn't dare to look up at people.

Zhou Pipi has done too many wrong things. He stole chickens and dogs, and even stole other people's daughter-in-law's hair clips. One day, he passed Liu's house and saw Liu's daughter-in-law washing her hair and combing her hair. He slipped into the Liu family with no words to find, and sat on the edge of the kang to watch Liu's wife comb her hair. While Liu's daughter-in-law was not paying attention, she put the hair clasp in her pocket.

Liu's daughter-in-law found that the hair clasp was missing, and she was almost anxious. At that time, the hair clasp was a woman's half-life! This is the most precious thing in a woman's life. When a girl gets married, no matter how poor her family is, she will buy one even if she borrows money. This hairpin is usually silver. When I am dying, I will give it to my daughter as a family heirloom.

Liu's daughter-in-law can't find it anywhere on the kang. But there is no one else in this room except her and Zhou Pipi. Wanted to think, she summoned up the courage to ask Zhou Pipi if she saw it. Zhou scratched his head. "No, no, I didn't see it!"

Just then, the tip of the hair clasp emerged from the small hole in Zhou's skinned pocket and was seen by Liu's daughter-in-law. Zhou Bapi saw the clue and said awkwardly, "Oh, how did you get into my pocket!" " "

What a skinner!

Zhou Bapi colluded with his nephew Zhou Baoan (written as a father-son relationship in the novel) and forced Zhou Bapi to drop out of school last month to pay his debts as a pig. This not only made Yubao see clearly what Zhou Bapi was, but also suffered bullying and squeezing from Zhou Bapi.

Early the next morning after Yubao dropped out of school, she took a broken quilt and a bag sewn by her mother and sister and went to Zhou Bapi's house.

When Yubao walked out of the house, his mother advised him to leave his books and schoolbags at home, but Yubao refused. Yubao said to take it with him when he was free, and let him draw according to the words in the book. After painting, ask the teacher what this word is. Mom knows that Yubao loves reading, but she is worried that Zhou Pipi won't let him study and has no time to study. After persuading him not to listen, she didn't stop him.

Not surprisingly, as soon as Yubao stepped into the door of Zhou's house, Lao Zhou skinned his schoolbag and saw: "Yes, a college student came! Are you here to study or to raise pigs for me? " As he spoke, he grabbed his schoolbag and tore it to pieces at once. After tearing it off, I threw it on the ground and stepped on it: "I want you to read!" " I told you to see it! I told you to read! "

Zhou skinned people and tore books, which was terrible. It greatly hurt Yubao's young mind and made Yubao very angry. Zhou skinned and tore books, which was worse than cutting meat with a knife. Really want to cry without tears! But what can we do? What if Zhou peels the skin? Yubao gritted his teeth and didn't dare to make any noise, but made up his mind: "You tore my book, and I won't give it to you." You wait and see! "

On the first day when Yubao went to Zhou's house to release pigs, Zhou skinned it and made a contract with Yubao. If the pig is lost or killed by a wolf, he should pay double indemnity. If you have no money to accompany you, you will compensate him with his land and house.

At that time, Yubao's hometown was characterized by high mountains and dense forests and dense ancient trees. There are also many wolves. When herding pigs, you should always be on guard against wolves.

Zhou is ruthless, but he is a man who can say and do everything. Few poor people are not afraid of him. Yubao hates Zhou skinned again, and she dare not let the wolf eat the pig. But this pig is hard to release! It is really difficult for a child who has just turned 8 to control a group of big pigs, piglets, fat pigs and old sows to release them.

The fat pig and the old sow can't get rid of the stick, and the little pig crawls around like a mouse. One minute I walked into the crop field, and the next minute I walked into the Woods. Yubao even dreams at night, fearing that pigs will be killed or eaten by wolves. Later, Zhou skinned his family and forced them to take the house and land for compensation. Before Yubao went, several swineherd were driven away, scolded, beaten and scared by Zhou Pi.

But Yubao is not a person who easily gives up. Besides, dealing with people like Zhou skinned has its own way, just like dealing with pigs skinned by Zhou. Yubao thought, don't you just keep the pigs from being bitten by wolves? As long as the pig is not lost and bitten by the wolf, it will be fine. As a result, he drove the pig to a distant ravine, chose a place with water, and built a wall to keep the pig in. Look, isn't that enough? As for whether there is grass in it, don't worry. Anyway, his pig feed is sufficient.

It's hot every day in summer, so the pigs lie still in the ditch. As for Yubao, she can also sleep in the shade. Each has its own position.

Even so, the pig jade treasure is not good! He not only raises pigs outside, but also has a lot of unfinished work when he returns to Zhou's home. At that time, there was no chemical fertilizer to farm in the countryside. The main source of fertilizer is to make fertilizer from human and animal manure. Zhou Bapi has a lot of land and needs a lot of fertilizer. So dozens of pigs, large and small, were raised.

Zhou Jia has many pigs, and each pigsty keeps two or three pigs. That pigsty has a wooden trough for feeding and a place for pigs to sleep. What's left is a big pit. Yubao feeds pigs every night and pours two or three buckets of water into each pit to step on dung. It is also necessary to sweep up the feces of cattle, horses, sheep, chickens, ducks and ducks, collect them and pour them into pig pens, and then pour a few loads of soil into each pen so that they can be trampled into manure together.

This manure can't be trampled by pigs alone. Yubao should also step in. Every two or three days, you have to pick up the dung and pile it up. All these tasks should be done by Yubao alone. This labor intensity is not great, and it is conceivable that he is tired, not to mention that Yubao is only an 8-year-old boy!

Yubao works as a cow and horse in the Zhou family. People get up early and go to bed late, work hard without saying a word, and are often scolded by Zhou. But what about the food? It's just pig and dog food, just like the jingle made up by those guys: "When you walk into Zhoujiamen, there are two pots of porridge;" There is rice in the basin and someone in the rice. "

It is such porridge that Yubao and others can't drink more than half a bowl. Whenever eating, Lao Zhou peeled off his skin and looked through the door. Once, Yubao was about to add some porridge when Lao Zhou skinned and rushed into the room: "You little swineherd, who let you eat so much?" Even half a bowl of porridge in the bowl was peeled by Zhou and poured back into the bowl.

The long-term workers were indignant when they saw Zhou Peeping treat Yubao like this. Together, they want to make the old terrapin landlord complete. They deliberately mixed sediment into the porridge when they didn't pay attention to peeling the skin, and then shouted, "Boss, you are too cruel!" " If we are not given dry food and told to drink thin food, it is also mixed with sand. How can we eat it? How can people work without eating? You are so cruel! "

Zhou skinned heard the shouts and came out. He tasted the porridge and straightened his teeth. It was obvious that there was mud and sand in it. Because he was afraid that the long-term workers would go on strike, he scolded his cooking daughter-in-law and asked her to take out the dry food for the long-term workers first.

Zhou not only skinned long-term workers, but also skinned pigs and treated them as labor. Whenever the dates are about to come down, there will always be some rotten dates under the jujube tree that are blown off by the wind and not eaten by the Zhou family. Once, Yubao, who was very hungry, secretly picked up two bags of bad dates and wanted to take them to the mountains to eat. Zhou skinned him and killed Yubao. Force Yubao to take out all the dates and feed them to the pigs.

Zhou skinned the pig and ate the dates, but he didn't pour them into the trough. If you feed him like this, he won't be skinned by Zhou. How did he feed it? He threw the rotten dates in his hand into the pit, one in the east and the other in the west, and let some pigs scurry around in the pen. A handful of rotten dates makes a few fat pigs tired. Jujube didn't catch a few to eat, but manure stepped on him!

Without dates, Zhou peeled the pig's skin with corn kernels, scattering a few at one end and throwing a few at the other. Zhou peeled the skin while throwing it: "Ah, how else can I call you' stupid pigs'?" Just for a little food, just like those poor people, tired to run around to catch their breath! "

After autumn, the long-term workers went home. Yubao also went to feed pigs, carry water, sweep the yard, step on dung, carry dung, pile dung and grind dung. ...

When winter comes, the drilling platform is covered with a thick layer of ice. Yubao managed to lift half a bucket of water, and when she slipped, the water just spilled on her, shivering with cold, and she caught a cold and had a high fever that night. Yubao sleeps alone in the long shed, nobody cares, and he is not allowed to burn the kang. The broken quilt is small, and Yubao is frozen like a curly prawn.

In the middle of the night, my cold got worse and my headache got worse, so I cried loudly.

Zhou Bapi was awakened by shouts and hurried to the shed: "It's almost the Spring Festival, what are you yelling about?" ! Don't rush me, God of Wealth! Go home quickly! "

Zhou skinned Yubao and kicked him home. After half a year, the pig became bigger and fatter, but Yubao herself became thinner and thinner. Zhou skinned Yubao and drove him home. He didn't give a grain of food a penny. He also said that the debt owed by Yubao's family has not been paid off, and he will come back as a swineherd after the New Year.

Now, many old people in Yubao's hometown still remember that after Japan surrendered, the Eighth Route Army took over the puppet regime, established a democratic government in Fuxian County and liberated Heping Village. However, the poor who had just lived a comfortable life for a year suddenly fell into the hands of the Kuomintang army and the Home Returning Corps. In addition, Zhou Changan became the battalion commander of the Home Returning Corps. Zhou Bapi colluded with the Home Returning Corps and was even more fearless in treating rural cadres and poor people.

In Heping village, there is an old lady who is blind and has no children or daughters. She got a few acres of young crops from Zhou Bapi's house. In order to survive, she asked someone to help her get some tender corn from the field to satisfy her hunger.

A day and a half later, Zhou skinned people and drove to the old lady's house in a carriage, asking her to pay for food. The old lady said, no, Zhou skinned his accomplices to carry the old lady's things, such as broken quilts, clothes, pots, jars, bowls and spoons, and robbed them once they were loaded into the car.

The old lady begged, Zhou Pipi kowtowed, sat in the car grinning, pretended not to hear anything, and had a heart of stone. The old lady grabbed the cart and said to Zhou Paipi, "I don't want your land, and I don't want your young crops." Leave me alone this time! " I'll be a cow and a horse for you in the afterlife ... "

"To you, also want my land! Dream on! " At some point, Zhou skinned the old lady's head with her feet. The old lady was kicked down and her head fell under the wheel. The wheel clicked and the old lady was killed on the spot.

This year, I returned to the village of Gao Yubao as a carpenter, and became a militia and an activist of land reform. When he learned that the blind old lady was killed by Zhou's skinning, he hated it and asked several people to get the board. He nailed a coffin and buried the old lady.
