Professional Introduction

Criminology takes the phenomenon of crime as its object of study, and mainly researches the basic theories and knowledge of the methods, causes, and psychology of crime, and carries out crime investigations, crime analyses and predictions, crime prevention, psychological studies of criminals, as well as probation and correction of criminals in the organs of public security and other agencies. For example, research is conducted to understand the causes and psychology of criminals' crimes, to predict criminals' future criminal actions, and thus to avoid the occurrence of crimes.
